Roaring Donkey in Cobh

Great place for a good pint in a great pub. Great staff, friendly crowd, good for watching rugby.

Nice pub in Cobh. About 10 minutes climb up to the pub from the water. No food service.

Very decent and nice people, it simply makes you feel blissful.

A very quaint pub. We came here on the recommendation of our hosts. From what I could tell, we were the only tourists among mostly locals. The people were very friendly and we quickly struck up conversations. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We arrived around 5 pm, and it was quite crowded. They don't serve food, except for a few bags of bacon-flavored crisps. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

An absolute stellar pub! An all round fantastic community center

Fun amazing. Margaret is a greatly proprietor. We told stories all night and drank whiskey. Super irish lady. I am a mountain kid from cascade colo. Ill be back one day. Steve

Just a wonderful, “proper” pub in the lovely port town of Cobh. Went in for one drink, stayed for lots. The owner was so welcoming and the crowd so lively just didn’t want to leave. Fulfilled my image of a great Irish pub.

Fun evening on a Wednesday night of traditional muisicians, lovely lady behind the bar serving a great pint of Beamish!

Stopped in during our last visit from the states. Delicious pint of Murphy’s. Great bar keeper! hospitable, friendly, great to talk to as a traveler.
