Very friendly little cafe with beautiful and good food, especially not to be missed if you go to COBH, but above all what you should not miss eating at this place is the chocolate cake, frankly a killer, honestly I have never eaten such a delicious chocolate cake. Go there, trust me.

Sea Salt is a charming little café in Cobh, offering a cozy atmosphere and a menu full of creative dishes. There are both sweet and savory vegan options, each beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A lovely place to relax by the sea — highly recommended!

I ordered the bacon molette, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I am not really into pork, but this bacon tasted incredibly fresh, just like every other organic ingredient on the plate. The portion looks small at first, but it is actually very filling, and everything is beautifully served on top of focaccia bread. The café itself is quite small and cozy. The girls working there are lovely and very welcoming, but there is an older man who completely ignores you, never smiles, and did not even say thank you when we paid. It makes the atmosphere inside feel a bit tense, which for someone like me, who is all about holistic energy and good vibes, is definitely not my cup of tea. However, the food is truly beautiful, and it is the only reason I will be going back. 📍Verdict: Amazing fresh food, a bit of an awkward vibe, but worth visiting for the flavors alone.

Stunning, artisan restaurant on the harbour with wonderful food presented like art. The staff is lovely and they adjusted my meal with gluten free and vegan options. I highly recommend eating here.

We came without any expectations because it caught our attention, and the truth is that it is incredible, and looking at the dishes on the tables, they all looked very good!

Such a gorgeous first meal in Cobh! The staff were so lovely and helpful with finding a table, the food was delicious (would recommend the halloumi and eggs on toast), and it’s such a comfortable and interesting atmosphere.

Good hearty food with a fresh take on old classics for reasonable prices, nice quaint and cute little cafe. Was also very allergen friendly for those with such a need. Great to see the place adorned with Palestinian solidarity as well. Highly recommend.

Cracking little spot for breakfast. A great, central location with a relaxed vibe and some of the friendliest staff you’ll meet. I had the tastiest fry-up I’ve had in ages, everything was top quality and cooked perfectly. They didn’t bat an eye at my special requests either. I like my bacon crisp (like properly crisp) and they nailed it. Asked to skip the black pudding and they even offered to swap in something else without me needing to ask. No fuss, no attitude, just great food and lovely people. If you're in Cobh and need a proper breakfast, this is the place.

Seasalt is a lovely cafe with fresh ingredients and great service. We ate there twice during a week in Cobh. Turkish eggs and Irish breakfast were delicious. Specials salad with peaches was spot on and rolls. Coffees are great too. Can't fault it.

Rob Roy Bar

13/05/2026: Best pint of Guinness on or visit to Ireland
12/05/2026: Coolest bar in Cobh. Great pints, live music, Irish coffee, clean bathrooms, good banter with the bartender, a story about Paul Rudd and "hate racism" banners. What's not to love

Kellys

06/05/2026: After walking the town and spending some time down by the harbor just taking it all in, I figured it was time to grab a bite. I made my way over to Kelly’s Pub, settled in, and kept it simple with a Jameson, ginger, and lime. No luck on food; no pub toasty this time. Slight disappointment there. But honestly, it didn’t take much away from the stop. It was one of those smaller, quieter pubs where you’re not there for anything flashy, just a drink and a moment to sit. I stayed for a bit, listening to the staff talking back and forth, the kind of easy conversation that tells you this place runs on familiarity more than anything else. Even without the food, it was still a solid pause in the day.
05/05/2026: If you're looking for a truly quaint spot, this pub is a must-see. It's located right on the beautiful seaside promenade, and the atmosphere is truly Irish. I drank an excellent Guinness, expertly poured. Keep in mind that they don't serve hot meals or food, so if you're feeling peckish, your only option is the classic bag of chips (which always go well with beer). Prices are absolutely average for the area. Highly recommended for a refreshing drink.
