Great food and very friendly staff 10/10 🙌🏻

We ordered food for a family gathering including a birthday cake. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially considering we had several coeliacs to cater for. Birthday cake, gluten free cake and the party food were absolutely delicious - highly recommend Ellen’s.

Discovered by chance while chatting in a pub last night, this morning we went for our first Irish breakfast of the trip. Delicious! Eggs, bacon, pudding, beans, grilled tomato, sausage...hot chocolate, and coffee! They also served granola, waffles, and pancakes, all looking inviting! The ladies in the dining room were very kind and helpful. Ellen in the kitchen, busy with the stove, cooking everything fresh and to order. A few tables near bright windows and a couple of outdoor tables. Lovely, cheerful atmosphere. Cakes and muffins are also available at the counter, for eat-in or take-out. Highly recommended! A bit up the hill, just a pleasant 15-minute walk from the station and the camper area. Thanks, Ellen!

We ate an Ellen’s Kitchen for lunch and it was fabulous! She herself waited on us and we loved her. The food was delicious including the dessert and her place is clean and designed beautifully. I would absolutely recommend having breakfast and lunch at this establishment!

We were on a weekend getaway and my daughter was on a search for Pancakes with bacon and maple for breakfast. We found Ellen's Kitchen and it did not disappoint. It was topped with delicious strawberries and raspberries which made it even better. I had the full Irish which was also excellent. The service was excellent. All were welcoming and friendly.

We went to Ellen’s for breakfast this morning and oh. My. GOD🤩. This place was just incredible! Ellen, you’ve got such a talent! You really need to try this place out. Even my hubby liked it and he’s hard to please (HAH! 🤣). My daughter, Tina (I like to call her my teeny Tina because she’s short) said it was better iced coffee than Starbucks, and you know how much these Gen Z kids love their coffee 🤭 (HAH!). Anywho, I got the chick pea and chorizo hash and that was just amazing! My other kiddo, Louise, got the French toast and it smelled soooo good. Louise said it was better than my hubby’s (and that’s a high bar to clear! (HAH! 🤣)). Definitely come here for breakfast and their coffee. It’s a must!

Last stop for a quick bite, a bit of a random find (if such a thing as randomness exists) during a 15-day Irish road trip. A cozy place that finally offers something different! Pure bliss, with beautiful ingredients and very reasonable prices for Ireland (which seemed very expensive to us French). Ellen is incredibly attentive, the tiny dining room is always packed, we'll have to go, the ferry's coming up soon....
