Jacob's Ladder Restaurant in Cobh

The dishes have a very nice, balanced flavor and aren't overly salty, which is a big plus. The servings were also plentiful. However, the service staff could be a little more resourceful, but with a little guidance, like a child's hand, I could give them five stars for these hard-working and nice people and theVery Big thanks for do not asking me "is everything ok?" every five minutes. Their seafood chowder is a class.

Great restaurant with very friendly staff and fantastic food (fish and chips and red Thai curry). We got a table right away (for two people) and were allowed to choose whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. The drinks and food were brought to the table quickly. The prices are a bit high, but what is cheap these days, and Cobh is a tourist hotspot. All in all, very good.

Cobh was busy that evening but they were able to fit us in..everyone was very happy with their food, I had the wings(class). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the restaurant has a beautiful view too!

I can't say enough good things about Jacob's Ladder! My husband and I had dinner here a few weeks ago, and it was hands down the best and most memorable meal of our entire 10 day trip to Ireland! The view and setting was amazing, and we had the nicest waiter. We started with the goat cheese bruschetta which was one of the best things we'd ever eaten! Then we both had the hake which was amazing! Everything was perfectly prepared and presented, and the service was excellent! Would definitely eat here again if in Cobh!

Fantastic waitstaff at this restaurant with a view of the harbor. The arancini was cooked to perfection. The hake with crusted bread crumbs was good . It was also cooked to perfection. Amazing views!

Wonderful view from the terrace. Great fish and chips with the essential accompaniment of mushy peas. We arrived at a busy time and the staff had to be reminded four times that we were hoping to place an order. Once the order was placed, food was served quickly.

Had a delicious meal, perfect service, quite a good price. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant! A nice gentleman named Saul managed to fit us into what became quite a busy evening. My family definitely appreciated the effort! The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly. Thanks so much for fitting us in!
