Jacob's Ladder Restaurant in Cobh

The service at this restaurant is excellent as is the food. Additionally, the atmosphere and the level of genuine interest in their customers was exceeded at every level! We were visiting from the United States and had driven to Cobh from Dublin . Our rental car had a flat tire in Cobh and we still were planning to drive to Roscabery to spend the night. It became too late to do so and being delayed by a flat tire. Our server Filip, and his coworker at the front desk, Ruby of the Waters Edge Hotel, went out of their way to help us. They actually found a place for us to stay in Cobh that night as the Waters Edge was fully booked, called and handled the repair of our flat tire and even notified the lodging in Roscabery that were unable to make the trip safely. We can never thank them enough. Our dinner was excellent and we enjoyed Cobh very much that evening!!! Filip and Ruby are great examples of real customer service and caring!!! Bob and Robin

Beautiful view right on the water with a great terrace. The food was very tasty, but the vegetarian curry lacked that certain something. The service was very friendly.

Jacob's Ladder in Cobh is a truly special place, especially for its location and the splendid terrace overlooking the sea, which alone makes the experience memorable. Eating here with this view adds something extra to the meal and creates a relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere. The overall experience was positive, both for the atmosphere and for the pleasure of stopping in such a scenic location. I would recommend it especially to those who want to dine in a charming setting, with one of the most beautiful views in the area.

Grand spot, the view is nice, I had a fish and chips, the fish was very mushy no flavour lots of water, my wife ask the waiter in the end, and he said it was made from frozen fish, so there you go

A group of 11 wentfor lunch. Nobody complained which is unheard of. The view of the harbour and in particular the channel into the inner harbour is excellent. The menu is small but good and beautifully prepared. The wine list accommodates those that like to watch the harbour I
