Nice atmosphere by the water, very friendly staff at the entrance, which you can't say about the waiters who serve at the table. I really liked the seafood soup, I would have come back for it with pleasure. I ordered shrimps as a starter - they were absolutely terrible, in tons of oil and it felt like I was eating them with sand. The tip is included in the check - this is not respect for visitors, because you have to try at least a little for a tip. And if not, then everything else is included in the cost of the dish.

Excellent food, fresh fish and seafood. Good service; they're very busy and we had to wait, but they were very friendly.

Came here on a Howth tour from Dublin. Fresh fish but in oily batter. Not special especially at the price

Our tour guide said it was all fresh seafood and I believe him but the batter was oily and very expensive. It was nice. But it wasn't due the price. Nice staff, clean etc but had better success we've been here for much less

The food is adequate for the price, but the service leaves much to be desired, and the payment systems definitely need updating. And the outdoor tables above manhole covers don't exactly smell good.

The Vue Restaurant

06/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We recently visited The Vue Restaurant for our golf presentation evening. The venue is absolutely stunning, with fantastic panoramic views across Dublin that create a memorable setting for any event. The restaurant itself is beautifully presented, modern, and has a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent throughout the evening—friendly, professional, and very helpful. They worked hard to look after our group and ensure the presentation went smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. The food we received was good quality and well presented. However, as we were part of a larger party, there seemed to be some challenges with the service flow. At times there appeared to be a disconnect between orders being taken and food being delivered, which resulted in longer waiting times than expected. Unfortunately, because of these delays, our group only received the starters rather than experiencing the full meal. Despite this, the staff remained courteous and accommodating throughout, and it was clear they were doing their best under the circumstances. The combination of the spectacular views, stylish surroundings, and attentive team meant we still had an enjoyable evening. Overall, The Vue is a wonderful venue with huge potential and an amazing location. I would happily visit again, particularly with a smaller group, and would recommend it to anyone looking for great views and a unique dining experience in Dublin. 🌆🍽️🏆

The Commons at MOLI

29/06/2026: Young lady named Ruby served my friends and I , so polite and attentive !
29/06/2026: We stumbled upon The Commons Café at the Museum of Literature Ireland quite by chance as we were leaving Iveagh Gardens. A beautiful little oasis of calm in the greenery, right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was very friendly. We only had Aperol Spritzes, but the menu sounded really good and definitely makes us want to come back. A word of warning: Aperol Spritzes are generally expensive in Dublin. We paid just over €25 for two Aperol Spritzes here. The café was very busy at lunchtime, especially the outdoor seating area. If you want to get a table there, it's best to make a reservation.
