24/08/2023: We popped in here after the family went canoeing. Omg literally the best Fish and Chips we have had in sooo long. Very nice. Served so quickly and staff are funny and friendly.

15/09/2023: We had an awful. Experience here. My husband ended up very sick the next day after his food. We complained about his meal at the time and no effort was made to change the food or even to give a discount. Service was also very bad. Will not return

09/12/2023: Possibly the worst restaurant service myself and wife have ever experienced. Waiting over 1 hour for our starter. Almost 2 hours for mains Never again

19/11/2023: Would probably rate lower but the dessert - chocolate parfait - redeemed it a bit. First off the prices are hefty (we were using a voucher thank god) secondly I ordered the lamb chops and it came out medium. It was almost baaing on the table. One chop was edible, had that but couldn't finish the second ... and l'm a person who likes their steak pink!! I think my annoyance was It was never mentioned to me it was going to be that pink/rare. I brought up with the waitress who didn't really understand my concerns and/or care. she was going to ask the chef for me but never came back to me about it. Like I said above the dessert redeemed it a little. But just a little bit more communication from the staff about the meals would be appreciated. I know a lot of people would send it back as it was rare in the very centre. And of course the fact I wasn’t asked how I’d like it done. The rest of the food looked nice - Wouldn't return in a hurry or recommend. The Oak and Anvil had a better menu imo but unfortunately my sister was told on the phone here was better I have to disagree.

23/10/2023: This was the second time we've been in Dublin and we came by to have a drink and reminisce about our first adventure in Ireland that ended at the Clayton Hotel. We were so glad we did , Petru and Camelia were working and they were amazing from the welcome to the fabulous cocktails that were served. I ordered the Lady Madeleine and it was so amazing we can back a 2nf day in a row. My husband had and old fashioned yesterday and today he tried St Kevin's Devine. Both were amazing choices. If you're in Dublin and looking for an actual cocktail bar with friendly staff, crafted cocktails, and a easy going atmosphere look no further. Make sure ask for the best mixologist in Dublin Petru (biased opinion I know)
