29/08/2025: Real country pub this, extremely popular and well-founded on why. I've been here twice, and on both occasions I had the bacon cheeseburger. Its one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, and extremely filling. The staff are fantastic and the service is great. 10 on 10 for the rusty!

24/08/2025: Sorry but waited nearly 40 minutes for table got a table then waited 15 mins or more for our orders to be taken nobody came so we walked out no one seemed to know what they were doing

01/12/2025: One of the only places I visited twice during my short stay in Dublin. Very friendly and cozy café. Nice service and quite tasty food. Had breakfast there twice. Both the sandwiches and the pancakes were very yummy!☺️ It is quite small though so only can accomodate groups up to like 5-6 people.

09/06/2025: Absolutely lovely wee place, my boyfriend and I ordered a portion of chips and some drinks and both were excellent. The staff are so friendly and polite, and made you feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend.

24/11/2025: Would not recommend, hoping I won’t be sick after having a small bit of this burger before realising how undercooked it was! I told the waiter they apologised, offered me something else free of charge, I declined and they still charged me for my daughter and friends food and my drink.

14/12/2025: Very slow service If you are going to eat Spanish tapas I don't recommend it at all, the tapas are not well done, not much quantity and the taste is very bad. They serve broccoli as if it were a Spanish tapa And it isn’t. I don't recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

14/12/2025: It was full, inside it is a lovely venue and atmosphere. But outside not so much. But overall worth visiting but south dublin prices.

03/11/2025: The most enjoyable break I've had in years. Absolutely faultless by Mount Juliet. I'm very fussy, but I cannot fault a single thing. The receptionist we first met was so polite and helpful, all the staff we met in the hallways were so polite too, waiting staff, management, bar staff all so welcoming. I will definitely be staying again, sooner rather than later.

24/08/2025: We got the feeling that they didn't want to serve us at 8 p.m. They told us the kitchen was closed and there were people dining...

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

07/11/2025: Beautiful food, quick service everything cooked fresh and different special menus every friday night as well as the bar menu. Prawns pil pil were so tasty. Friendly staff so helpful and chatty.

23/10/2025: we went in here for 1 drink on way home we didnt see the sign saying no children allowed after 9 so after we were served the drink they told us in a more nice way that we had to go after that drink there was no problem whatsoever with this that was our mistake -- there was a lady in there with a dog who stayed going mental & she did leave but not before she spoke to everyone on the way out while the dog was still going mental

23/10/2025: This bar used to be one of the best in Dublin but no longer unfortunately . Staff have a terrible attitude , service is slow and only comes when staff get bored chatting . Drinks quality has deteriorated shockingly even though they are massively expensive . Must be terrible for tourists when they get an “Irish” welcome here , how embarrassing . There are hundreds of better places to go in Dublin and where your custom will be welcome .

11/12/2025: Just home from a 2 night stay with my 4 sisters, it was absolutely a fabulous place to stay,the staff were excellent, always very friendly and accommodating, the bar food was excellent, the gentleman at the front door was very helpful with our suitcases, room was lovely and spotlessly clean,will definitely stay there again, thanks to everyone who made our stay very enjoyable

09/11/2025: I wanted to give it 0 stars, but you can’t give 0 stars, so I’m rating it a 1. My friend and I were looking forward to going to this cafe after seeing on TikTok, we had even waited for them to open. It was a very uncomfortable experience from the start. The waitress told us to wait outside until she allowed us in, and when she did - the lights were still switched off. Even being the first ones there she very rudely told us to sit down at the first table. We had planned to study at the cafe as we heard people had done that before, but she told us that she can’t hold the table for us to study and this was the only table we could sit at. She was behaving very hostile and rude towards us and it was such an uncomfortable experience, we left immediately. The service was extremely horrible, do better next time! We can’t believe that we were treated like this, we had such high expectations, we never thought we’d be treated so poorly by the waitress especially at a cafe in Dublin.

07/11/2025: Totally unpleasant experience. Greeted by rude unsmiling unfriendly staff members. I have just taken out a family membership, love the museum but am shocked by the rude sullen indifference of the staff in the café. We complained at the museum reception front desk, and were promptly told it was nothing to do with them as it's run by a separate entity. Shocking.

20/12/2025: Excellent food and service on our recent anniversary stay. Nice selection on the menu and wine list, matched by great quality and value for money.

11/11/2025: Unfortunately didn’t actually get to eat anything. Similar to a few other reviews the service was just not worth the pain. Being considerate, I left our dog outside & went inside to ask if I could bring him inside. After a minor pause, he said he wasn’t allowed inside as the dog would wet the floor & make it slippery. Everyone inside was wearing wet shoes & the floor was wet. Funnily enough I too, was wearing wet shoes inside the shop & my shoe size would probably be equivalent to about 12 dog paws, but that was ok? No problem about not letting dogs inside but at least be honest. The response turned me off eating there & I left.
