Gourmet Tart Company

Galway
16/01/2025: Went in here last week to get a coffee and a sandwich, the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very affordable. The sandwich tasted better as its homemade compared to big retail chains. Well done to the people in gourmet who make these amazing sandwiches.

Maryborough Hotel & Spa

Cork
08/03/2025: Met family for lunch recently in Bellinis Bar. . Food was only very average. Chicken korma was very poor... bland, flavourless and not a hint of korma.. The rice was a solid block and a chisel would be a better implement than a knife for cutting the block. I didn't eat much of it. The batter in the fish was too thick but fish and chips was good otherwise. Bellinis Bar needs to freshen up it's tables. The staff were the best part of the meal.. Very friendly and listened to my complaint and didn't charge for the Korma and did offer me an alternative meal which I didn't accept as there's were nearly finished theirs. Unlikely to return for lunch there.
08/03/2025: Room was nice, unfortunately food service was poor but the biggest disappointment was the Breakfast, it was so poor in quality and presentation that all 5 of us left it behind.

La Bodega

Dublin
21/02/2025: I really liked the restaurant’s interior. The food was on the pricey side, especially the plato de jamón, which was €25 for just a few slices of ham, some olives and bread. That said, their tapas were great. However, I didn’t find the staff very accommodating—it felt like we were being rushed, possibly because we didn’t have a reservation.
15/02/2025: Went here for bottomless brunch on Saturday, brilliant deal, delicious food. Definitely will be back again!

Kariba's Restaurant & Coffee House

Ballinasloe
21/02/2025: Lovely food, great service, and good value. Breakfast was delicious highly recommended!
08/02/2025: The cappuccino was ok. The menu says it's €3.65, then at the till they wanted to charge me €3.95. Very sloppy management. The delusions of grandeur are obvious. Avoid, Bistro 18 is way better.

Woodlands Restaurant

Glen of the downs
11/02/2025: We recently celebrated two 90th birthdays at The Woodland Restaurant. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and taken care of. The exceptional service truly set the tone for the event. There was a slight hiccup with some guests delayed due to traffic on the M50, but the staff at The Woodland were more than accommodating, allowing us to start later without any hassle. We never once felt rushed. It made all the difference and allowed everyone to arrive and enjoy the celebration together. The food was excellent and the presentation fabulous. Andrew’s rendition of "Happy Birthday" was spectacular and will be remembered for years to come. The venue is stunning with huge picture windows and fabulous views. The staff made the birthday couple feel like royalty even gifting them birthday cake, tea, and coffee. It was clear that every detail was taken care of. Our guests were raving about how wonderful the whole day was. Thank you to Frano, Andrew, and all the staff for making this milestone celebration so memorable. Your kindness and attention to detail truly made the day a success. Highly recommended!
10/02/2025: We celebrated our parents 90th Birthdays last weekend in the woodlands restaurant. From my first phone call to Frano to organise the event for 30 close friends and family, to saying goodbye after the very enjoyable luncheon party was over, was flawless. They thought of, and planned every detail like we were the most important people to them. When we arrived, Frano introduced us to Andrew, the restaurant manager, who looked after us impeccably for the afternoon. The service was flawless, the food was delicious, the atmosphere and views were incredible. Andrew even serenaded our parents with the most amazing rendition of Happy Birthday we have ever heard, he is obviously a professional singer. I couldn’t praise this restaurant and our experience enough. We will certainly be back. Thank you Frano, Andrew and all the staff for making our visit so memorable.

Gapo's Restaurant

Listowel
03/01/2025: Great food and service. Would recommend this restaurant for Dine in or take away
23/11/2024: I’m not a person for writing reviews but the service in this place is absolutely chronic. The wait for food you would be expecting something nice but it’s far from nice the chips were like they were reheated from the day before they were as dry as a ghandies flip flop the starter was cold the burger wasn’t anything to boast about and staff are absolutely clueless and rude. I would advice stay walking and grab a jumbos

Glenbeigh
07/12/2024: Rossbeigh Bar in Glenbeigh, County Kerry, holds a special place in my heart. For as long as I can remember, it has been a family and friends' favourite spot, a place where we have gathered for good food, great drinks, and even better company. Over the years, this charming pub has become more than just a place to grab a pint—it’s a cherished part of my memories, and I continue to visit every time I return to the beautiful village of Glenbeigh. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed everything from hearty traditional Irish dishes to lighter fare, always knowing that the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The seafood here, in particular, is exceptional. Being located near the coast, the pub takes full advantage of the fresh catch of the day, offering delicious fish dishes that reflect the best of Kerry’s coastal produce. The fish and chips are a personal favourite—crispy, perfectly cooked, and always served with a generous portion of tartar sauce. Aside from the seafood, the traditional Irish dishes, like stew and lamb, are comforting and flavorful. There’s nothing like sitting by the fire with a hearty plate of food after a long day of exploring the stunning scenery around Glenbeigh. The portions are always generous, and the meals are filling, making it the perfect place to refuel after a day of hiking, beach walking, or taking in the sights of the Ring of Kerry. Whether you're popping in for a quiet drink with friends or enjoying a lively evening with family, the pub never fails to provide a space where people can come together. The interior is traditional, with wooden beams, a warm fire, and friendly chatter that fills the air. It's the kind of place where you can easily strike up a conversation with locals or fellow travelers, making it a great spot for meeting new people and soaking in the authentic Irish pub experience. The pub also regularly hosts live music, and the atmosphere is always vibrant when the local musicians perform. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a pint while listening to traditional Irish tunes or contemporary hits in the heart of Kerry. It’s a true reflection of the local culture, and it always makes my visit to Rossbeigh Bar that much more enjoyable. The Townhouse

Dundalk
28/07/2024: Great food, lovely atmosphere. Don't miss the Cookiedough skillet on the dessert menu - wow!
20/07/2024: Myself and partner went for dinner Thursday night. Starters were lovely. Mains - I got the beef burger and my partner got the chicken burger. His chicken burger was noticeably “wet” juices dripping out of the burger, his plate was soaked. He felt something was off, took the bun off the burger and we both noticed how pink the chicken burger was. The server came over and noticed it for herself that the chicken was pink. She quickly took it away to show her manager. The manager came over and apologised asked if he would like something else, we said no. We quickly left as my partner did not feel right. He vomited that night and had awful cramps the following day. The manager did not charge us for the chicken burger but charged for the rest of the meal. I left half of my burger on the plate as I was turned off my food by it all. Really disappointed as I’ve heard good things about the place.
