24/03/2026: Don't get the reuben. Worst sandwich my father has had in his 80 years. Bread was good, but the meat inedible, I couldn't even rip it apart with my hands, let alone chew it.

07/04/2026: Terrible experience. The manager is rude, don't look at customer faces and don't give any kind of experience. Never going back there, specially at salthill. There's plenty of other coffee stores to go. Also the owner, Michelle, is not a friendly person at all. Horrible coffee, dirty coffee machine, steamer completely filthy. Bad experience.

06/01/2026: The branch I frequently visit is in Salthill. The staff there are across the board, so friendly, obliging and courteous. The food, (my preference are the pies,) are all delicious. They make an ab fhab, what I refer to as a Giant Jaffa Cake. 😋😋😋 Well worth the shekels no matter what you like! 👍

28/03/2026: It's a great place. We were here for the first time, but I really liked it. It was a March visit, so it wasn't very warm, but we sat in a sort of gazebo. It was nice because it was heated. The service was friendly and very fast. We were all impressed. The dishes came and went as if they were just waiting to be served, which was a plus. The food itself was very good. The shrimp appetizer was excellent, and the sirloin steak was prepared perfectly. A good beer made the dinner even more enjoyable.

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

22/01/2026: Came here for my birthday drinks with a friend and Eva was the best! She not only had the best recommendations but also kindly got us little cakes which was so sweet. Will be bringing my girlfriends back for all future birthday drinks!

10/01/2026: We went there just for a couple of cocktails around Christmas time. Despite the time of the year and the Christmas tree outside, the place didn't feel very warm. The cocktails we ordered were really good and the seasonal offering quite interesting.

21/03/2026: My toilit had a big sloppy 1 in it when I came bed bugs in the bed and the tv was tweeking in all my years I have never seen the 1st years in the back of the bus up the front now

27/03/2026: Prior to its closure I had been a regular (once or twice a week) customer of Cinnamon Monkstown. So I dropped in to the Ranelagh branch yesterday expecting a similar experience. I could not have been more wrong. The service was stand-offish and slow, with some items not making it to the table at all. I ordered the pancakes which were lovely but half the portion size that I was used to getting in Monkstown. My husband ordered the cajun chicken wrap, again the portion was considerably smaller. It came with no side salad, was tasteless and had very little chicken in it. My husband complained and the waitress asked if he would like a fresh one. He said he would. After a couple of minutes the waitress returned with the same plate of food, saying that the kitchen said a fresh wrap would just be the same. My husband said he wouldn't eat it and asked her to take the food away. He was not offered an alternative dish. My husband then asked to speak to the manager, Shane. Shane said that we would have to pay for the wrap, despite my husband not eating it. He was rude, obstinate and unwilling to provide any level of customer service one would expect from a cafe/restaurant. I note that some previous reviewers had an almost identical encounter. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and we will not be returning. Avoid!

26/03/2026: I ordered the Cajun chicken but was really disappointed as there was no flavour and certainly no spice. I informed the waitress who took the plate away. She returned a couple of minutes later with the same plate saying there was nothing she could do. I went to the counter to pay. Shane the manager tried to charge me for the food I sent back. I refused and paid for what my wife had eaten. Shane followed me out of the shop and threatened me with publishing details of my refusal to pay in a whattap group and social media. Cinnamon will be hearing from my solicitors

24/02/2026: Dublin has tons of hotels. Save yourself the time digging through options and just book this one, the area is Central. Safe. Staff is awesome. Ger who is the concierge extraordinaire will make sure your stay is perfect!

15/02/2026: I'm reviewing the restaurant. The prices are normal, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very attentive. The food is delicious.

26/12/2025: We arrived at The Port House Cava for our booking at 1pm Christmas Eve. The restaurant was empty except for one table. All the other tables were vacant. The server greeted us and immediately warned us he needed the table back at 3pm. That’s fine. We sat. We waited. The same server was down the back chatting with the kitchen over the pass. We waited a little longer, still no drinks order was coming. I decided to draw some attention to our table by going up to the empty bar. The only occupied table gave me a glance that I read as a comment on the hopeless service as they tried to get the same servers attention. He was still chatting at the pass while the only two tables were both waiting for some attention. Up to the bar he saunters, I ask if we can order some prosecco. We only have Cava he says “they are the same thing”. No there not I reply, but ok let’s have a bottle of cava and if you don’t mind 6 glasses for our table. Back at our table he produces a wine list which would have been handy when we were seated. The cava arrives. It’s barely chilled. I say nothing. Again the same server reminds us that he needs the table back at 3pm. My blood is boiling at this stage as my family as I are made feel like we are an obstruction of sorts. The food arrives and it’s delicious. Well presented. Well cooked and a delight. The first bottle of cava is empty. I’d like to order another but the server is back down at the pass chatting again. To command he attention, again I get up and venture to the bar. Another server has started his shift just before 2pm. He’s more attentive. We order another cava and a bottle of rosé. 2.40pm and the 2nd server starts clearing our table. 2.50pm and they are hovering around our table to let us know it’s almost time to go. The restaurant is still empty except for one other 3top table. The bill arrives and I settle at the bar leaving half the tip I normally would. I ask the server why the hard push on getting the table back while the restaurant is empty. He has no answer. Which points me toward the owner or manager who I know will read this review. So, dear sir or madam, your pockets would be better lined if you spent as much time on encouraging your staff to deliver a good experience rather than a punctual one. You’re employing bus boys, not servers. We’re paying for the experience of which the food is only part. The atmosphere was dead just like the bookings. What’s the different between The Port House Cava and Tapas Del Lola? The staff. The staff. The staff. You’re doing Camden Street no favours with this diabolical customer service. I strongly suggest you consider adding some charm somewhere because you’re just not at the level of some of your good neighbours.

22/03/2026: We went to Howth, and after a long walk, we came in here. My son wanted fish and chips, but he has allergies to dry fried foods and mustard, and that dish contained mustard. But a helpful employee suggested grilling the fish and making it gluten-free. So my son was able to enjoy it. The rest of the food was delicious. The quality-price ratio was good for the location. The staff were friendly, and the wait was relatively short (considering the restaurant was packed).

22/03/2026: I was there just before noon. It was very busy on a Saturday. The staff were still friendly, even if a bit stressed, and the food was good. It got quite noisy after a while because of the large number of people. Otherwise, I'd gladly go again.

21/03/2026: After walking along the skiffs, it was so nice to rest and have a bite to eat at this crossroads. Quick, tasty, and enjoyable.

07/03/2026: Ordered a group order for take away. Ordered earlier in the day. Pizzas are fab (and huge and as as good cold as they are hot IYKYK)!! Chips really good and the garlic mayo is the best. Great value for money! Food traveled well!
