The Vue Restaurant in Dublin

A beautiful place to eat overlooking the golf course. Food and service were excellent. I would recommend it for Sunday lunch

We were a large group of 15 people who gathered for a late Sunday lunch to celebrate a family event. The location, views, and ambience were fantastic, making it a wonderful place for a large group to enjoy a relaxed meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The service, however, was quite slow, and it took a considerable amount of time for our orders to arrive. With several children in our group, they were understandably hungry and restless while waiting. The desserts also took a long time to arrive, and unfortunately, a few items from the kids’ menu and some drinks never arrived at all. That said, the food was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered burgers, fish and chips, Sunday roast, steak and the baked sea bass, and every single dish was beautifully prepared, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavour. The quality of the food really stood out. Despite the service issues, the fantastic food, stunning views, and lovely ambience won us over. We would certainly return, and hopefully the management team can work on improving the service to elevate what could be an exceptional overall dining experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We recently visited The Vue Restaurant for our golf presentation evening. The venue is absolutely stunning, with fantastic panoramic views across Dublin that create a memorable setting for any event. The restaurant itself is beautifully presented, modern, and has a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent throughout the evening—friendly, professional, and very helpful. They worked hard to look after our group and ensure the presentation went smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. The food we received was good quality and well presented. However, as we were part of a larger party, there seemed to be some challenges with the service flow. At times there appeared to be a disconnect between orders being taken and food being delivered, which resulted in longer waiting times than expected. Unfortunately, because of these delays, our group only received the starters rather than experiencing the full meal. Despite this, the staff remained courteous and accommodating throughout, and it was clear they were doing their best under the circumstances. The combination of the spectacular views, stylish surroundings, and attentive team meant we still had an enjoyable evening. Overall, The Vue is a wonderful venue with huge potential and an amazing location. I would happily visit again, particularly with a smaller group, and would recommend it to anyone looking for great views and a unique dining experience in Dublin. 🌆🍽️🏆
