Absolutely great experience. I spent two evenings here on my one week trip! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Environment was clean and plenty of seating! Was recommended by locals!

Very welcoming staff, great environment, and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and made us feel right at home. Lester took plenty of time to talk with us, share his experiences, and make the visit even more memorable. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

Notice: this pub does NOT serve food. I don't understand what the deal is with all these recent reviews that claim food is served—Bots? Spam? Turfing?—I dunno, but I assure you that the kitchen is not yet open.

Dav was Amazing!! He.not only served us but also helped us get acclimated to the area. I would highly suggest the Ivy House Great atmosphere and all of the bartenders are so nice!!

15/08/2026: The food was delicious, although the restaurant itself was quite crowded during the busy season. I was able to get a table quickly as a walk-in but by the time I left there was a line out the door. If it’s not too busy though, I would definitely recommend for a classic seafood place!
13/08/2026: The restaurant is right on the Howth pier. They don't take reservations, and if there are no seats (which is quite common on weekends), you have to queue outside and be called up one by one. The wait is well worth it, however, as the food (fish caught daily and caught at the fishmonger next door) is truly delicious. I highly recommend it.

23/07/2026: A hidden gem in Ranelagh! So glad we found this place we ordered half the menu and everything was amazing. Food cane so fast and staff were so lovely. Thank you so much!!
