Sli Dala Restaurant in Kinnitty

We are only back from a fantastic weekend in this beautiful hotel , on arrival we were upgraded to the Michael Murphy Suite and was blown away by it and the views . We had food and drinks in the Dungeon Bar where the Guinness was so so good ! The staff were all very nice especially Conor who is such a breath of fresh air , couldn’t do enough for us and everyone else there . The grounds are stunning and walking trails are fantastic . We will be back 😎

Loved my night in Kinnitty Castle. The whole team were so kind and welcoming. The food in the dungeon bar was amazing and my room was so peaceful. 10/10

We found the services relatively expensive, the room was nothing fabulous for the price, the meal in the restaurant was expensive for the quality of the food. In addition, the rooms are poorly soundproofed, at 2 a.m. people returning from the evening were talking loudly and running in the corridors, meaning we thought they were in our room. On the positive side, the park is very pretty, welcoming staff, very pretty castle, pleasant restaurant

It was fantastic best place I've been in Ireland and the food was off the charts . DELICIOUS 😋🤤

We commuted from Portlaoise towards Mountrath with the wonderful drive through the Slieve Bloom Mountains then we arrived in the small town of Kinnity, a short drive down the road till we entered the Castle grounds, with parking available and nice views over the landscape of surrounding areas. A really nice walk down the rivee bank, and back around over the bridge and we spotted the stone circle of sorts dotted in the middle of a field with a pond right next to it and a cottage unattended. A great way to spend an hour or two in nature, the hotel wasn't opened but hopefully visit there again in the warmers months

Such a lovely place with equally lovely staff. So very peaceful and really enjoyed strolls by the river. A unique place to stay and not one to be missed.
