Only been there for coffee and would recommend it to anyone

It is the only pub around. I have been for dinner and lunch and portions are decent. In general I will recommend it but today I am getting annoyed 😠😡 with waitress. We are seating just in front of the bar and she is coming every 10 minutes if we want another drink and my pint is full. She even schitch off the light. I am still processing.

Very nice food, went today with my sister had the carvery, we both had corned beef and it was delicious and we both had desert and again it was delicious 😋 and very friendly atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back!

A great pub with efficient and good humoured staff live music 2 or 3 nights a week

I have to say that the atmosphere and staff were absolutely lovely. I would come back there any time but some of the food just wasn't great - I had stir fry, and I have to say I was hoping for a lovely crunchy veggies and chicken, but I received stir fry soup with precooked pieces of chicken and soggie veggies. Children chicken nuggets were lovely Mash and sausages good. So overall it was ok.

Adults meals are gorgeous, kids not so much. Staff are attentive and friendly. Decor is beautiful and the whole place is spotless.
