Had dinner here on a Friday evening. Main dish tasted excellent, but the portion could have been a bit bigger. Service was good, nice atmosphere as well.

I never write reviews but I have to about this place. This was single handedly the best brunch I’ve had in dublin (I’ve lived here for almost 4 years). Absolutely fantastic, great portion sizes, good value, full of flavour. 10/10 will be coming back all the time!

It was nice but background music awful through muffled speakers. It was just noise... Food was very good. White Wine could have been more chilled and I didn't like being pressured to leave the table after lunch.

Great value early bird in Bjou. Duck salad to start followed by pan fried seam bream, both were delicious. Warm cozy atmosphere with very attentive staff. Big shout out to John the manager who goes above & beyond.

Nice restaurant but not as good as I expected. Service was fine even if one or 2 staff members did not seem too interested in serving. Food was good without being excellent.music was not good and fairly loud, causing patrons to talk louder than usual.

09/05/2026: The lemon tart was good but it was a little bit hot.
06/05/2026: The food at Layla's Rooftop Restaurant is very good, with Italian dishes that are well prepared and full of flavour. As French/Italian people previously living in Paris and used to elevated dining experiences, we were however a bit disappointed by the service, which sometimes felt somewhat pedantic rather than genuinely warm and refined. Considering the price of dishes, this should definitely be addressed, as premium should never rhyme with pretentiousness.
