Kariba's Restaurant & Coffee House in Ballinasloe

We stopped with our 91yo mother and extended family. We had the most delicious lunch. I had the goat cheese sambo, the bread was excellent - sourdough roll. Portion size was just perfect. The very best chocolate biscuit cake which is made on the premises is worth driving from Dublin for. The owner John & his staff are welcoming and very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was.great, the food was delicious. Waitresses very very kind. However the portions were very small - way too small for the price.

Kariba’s café Balinasloe is a hidden gem. It’s a discrete top class cafe in the west of Ireland. It’s understated and lovely and refreshing. No noisy music . Comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and respectful of me needing a quiet time to sit and enjoy my coffee and cake .. The food is delicious. The premises are clean and fresh .. I will definitely be back ..

Very tasty full Irish breakfast. The owner could not have been any more friendly or helpful and purchased a charging cable in the shop next door so I could charge my bike computer. Very much appreciated from the Kildare Cycling Club crew.
