08/05/2026: We stopped with our 91yo mother and extended family. We had the most delicious lunch. I had the goat cheese sambo, the bread was excellent - sourdough roll. Portion size was just perfect. The very best chocolate biscuit cake which is made on the premises is worth driving from Dublin for. The owner John & his staff are welcoming and very friendly. Will definitely be back.
04/05/2026: The atmosphere was.great, the food was delicious. Waitresses very very kind. However the portions were very small - way too small for the price.

15/08/2025: 10/10. Visiting from Ontario, Canada. Dave was a real gem! His coffee recommendations and execution were spot on. The maple bacon bagel was excellent. Atmosphere and service was top notch. Definitely check this place out!!

12/06/2026: Ordered Nasi Goreng. Good portion size and was edible but it was advertised as spicy and it was not even one bit. It was basically just regular chicken/prawn fried rice with one or two tiny piece of chilies in it. Was nice when I added sriracha. If you donโt like spicy food you will like it and they should remove โspicyโ label on Just Eat.

08/06/2026: Cracking stay here. Lovely staff, beautiful location, and amazing food. Beautiful antiques everywhere, plus stunning artwork in rooms and communal areas. Someone has invested a lot of time and effort putting it all together. Obviously a labour of love, fair play. Comfiest bed l have ever slept in btw.
