The Bread Basket in Ballinasloe

Went here recently passing through on a trip to Clare. The food was lovely and staff really nice. I had a burger which was great and very reasonable 🍔. if im ever close ill call again

I've been visiting The Bread Basket for over 15 years, and it's still one of my favourite places to stop whenever I'm in Ballinasloe. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent customer service. They have a fantastic selection of freshly baked goods, great coffee, and everything is always fresh and delicious. My personal favourite is the lemon slice. Every time I'm in Ballinasloe, I make sure to call in for one. I've been going there for so long that the staff often know exactly what I'm ordering before I even get to the counter, which is a lovely personal touch and says a lot about the service they provide. It's great to see a local business consistently maintaining such high standards over the years. I would highly recommend The Bread Basket to anyone looking for delicious bakery treats, quality coffee, and genuinely friendly service.

Love this place ❤️ wow you walk in, smells of fresh bread 🍞 😋 people eating fresh home made meals 😋 staff excellent..for me living in Athlone .no problem to drive to Ballinasloe to The Bread Basket ....?? Especially for the Chester cakes..what a treat...so so good, but so is everything else !! Pure class!!!!

Stopped here on our way out of Galway and so happy we did. We wanted to support a local business and the food was so good. The potato cakes were recommended and so good! We also got lattes and sweet treats for take away. Definitely recommend!

On short notice, Martina and her friendly baker husband prepared within less than an hour a customized birthday cake for a male crew of 14 mooring an overnight stopin at the Ballinasloe marina. Service was charming, supportive and the cake was outstandingly delicious. Having visited the town as boating tourists, we highly recommemd the Bread Basket which provides far more than bread, a mouthwatering experience!!
