Subway in Galway

18/02/2026: I’ve been a long-time customer of O’Hehir’s at both Westside and Terryland. The food itself is nice, but over the past 12 months I’ve noticed a real drop in portion sizes, particularly with wraps and sandwiches make by new staff. The newer staff seem very skimpy with fillings, to the point where it’s awkward to have to ask for more and explain that you’re hungry. For €9 or more for a wrap or flatbread, you expect a proper, filling portion. Lately, unless you keep asking for extra filling, you can easily leave with a very light sandwich. It honestly feels like staff are being instructed to use as little filling as possible, which is frustrating and disappointing for customers. While I can't be sure of the reason, I think a little more common sense is needed at times. Some clearer training or consistency on portion sizes would really help.
