Zappi's in Galway

Truly excellent pizza, no complaints there. Cooked well, with carefully selected, quality ingredients. The dough wasn't up to par, it was very overcooked, and the taste was so-so—a shame. But if you mistake it for a pizzeria, it's perfectly fine.

They were sampling some of the pizza out in the square and it was quite good. We decided to try out the restaurant. Tried ordering several things, but the first 3 things we tried to order were out. Finally ordered a pizza and a salad. Friends with us had ordered a pizza. Theirs came so much before ours that they had finished it and the waitstaff was looking to clear the table, but we hadn't received even our salad yet. When the food came, it was quite good, but the combination of the extreme delay, the items that were out, and the lack of timing is going to be problematic for this restaurant.

I had such a lovely evening here the food was amazing, proper Italian, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service couldn’t be faulted at all every member of staff was incredibly helpful. I really recommend booking a reservation if you are in or around Galway.

A hidden gem in the centre of Galway. These are Pepperoni pizza and Pizza Italia with Parma ham, the best pizza I've ever tried in Galway and even the most Neapolitan 😂 This place is in the centre near Eyre Square, inside there's Italian music and Italian style that makes you feel immediately near the Colosseo. Prices are not more expensive than others pizzerias. 10/10
