I had never seen or been to this Small Yet great Asian Restaurant/take-away in Galway city before. At the time I was starving & when I entered the Restaurant/take away I was immediately greeted by a very friendly Asian lady. She took my order & it wasn't long before I was eating a Big box of delicious House Chow mein & it was Hot, Very Tasty & had lots of different meats in it. Unlike a lot of other Asian Restaurants & take-aways that basically give you very little meat & a box full with noodles !! But at Yummy Wok you get lots of mixed meats (chicken, Beef, Duck & Prawns), so needless to say I was both surprised & Very Happy. I have Zero hesitation in going back to or recommending this place & location on the Headford Rd, near the Cinema in Galway city. The food is as the name suggests..... "Yummmmmy" !!

18/07/2026: Truly excellent pizza, no complaints there. Cooked well, with carefully selected, quality ingredients. The dough wasn't up to par, it was very overcooked, and the taste was so-so—a shame. But if you mistake it for a pizzeria, it's perfectly fine.
09/05/2026: They were sampling some of the pizza out in the square and it was quite good. We decided to try out the restaurant. Tried ordering several things, but the first 3 things we tried to order were out. Finally ordered a pizza and a salad. Friends with us had ordered a pizza. Theirs came so much before ours that they had finished it and the waitstaff was looking to clear the table, but we hadn't received even our salad yet. When the food came, it was quite good, but the combination of the extreme delay, the items that were out, and the lack of timing is going to be problematic for this restaurant.

Beef & Lobster

26/04/2026: My husband and I had an amazing experience. The crispy pork belly was absolutely perfect, cooked to perfection with an incredible texture and flavor. It was my first time trying octopus, and I loved it. It was incredibly tasty and truly exceeded my expectations. The steak and lobster were both wonderful, rich in flavor, and beautifully prepared. We were very well taken care of by Soirse, who was attentive and friendly throughout the experience. The place itself is beautiful and cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a great meal. This is definitely my favorite restaurant!
14/04/2026: Great location in the centre of Galway with a good menu. The service was great, good service speed and large portion sizes (starters and mains) Fillet steak was perfect, melted in the mouth. We attended on a Monday at around 7pm, and didn’t have a reservation, but there were plenty of seats
