Beautiful restaurant with lovely views and friendly staff. The pizzas are great. It would just be nice if there were some more vegetarian options, especially at breakfast for hotel guests.

Slightly disappointed ☹️. First of all, hands down to the interior decor, including the toilets. It's the best I've seen around Galway, so far. Regarding service, I feel it is not there yet. The waitresses are friendly but lack food know-how. The starters were tasty, especially the sweet potato soup. My wife enjoyed her chicken, despite being a little dry. On the other hand, I DID NOT enjoy my "supposed-to-be" burrata pizza. The pizza was missing the burrata cheese and the tomato sauce was extremely acidic, taking away all the enjoyment and pleasure of enjoying a good pizza. Another thing, I asked for some olives to nibble before dinner, I was met with a sarcastic "we're not a Mediterranean restaurant" answer. What's that supposed to mean? Also, I asked for chilli flakes and they didn't have it. Seriously? Am I the only customer that likes chillies? Why on earth are you in business if not prepared for small things like this? Price would be in line to a middle/high-end restaurant if service and food were to the right standards. At the moment, I'd say there is some work to be done. Another tip, never let a customer leave your restaurant without a thank you or farewell. It's just rude and shows a lack of respect towards them!

Amazing service and food. We had the pizzas and they were delightful. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Had an amazing family dinner. Definitely coming back. Our servers were alannah and Amelia. Well done

Location: centrally located just up the road from Eyre square at the Dean Hotel Rooftop ( I am not aware if they offer car parking facilities, but we couldn’t use them if they did) Decor: Industrial chic with lots of wood and strong print accents. Atmosphere: relaxed & pleasant Food: nicely presented, but more on the pretentious over priced not enough food on the plate for the price you pay kinda of place. But, hey! Nowadays is all about the instagram pics right? and what is the story with their over priced starters? sweet lord! specially their pork belly will give you a very pretty Insta picture 😜 ( but, is it worth almost 15 Euro for 3 iced cubes sizes pork belly pieces? not so sure about that) Staff: pleasant & attentive Overall: We wouldn’t be rushing back. Just not good enough for the price tag ( and before you may say that I am uneducated in terms of food. Yes! I have eaten in over 25 countries, I’ve tried multiple cuisines & my education is in Business management but, I have done culinary related studies so, I believe my opinion is valid 😁

Best meal we have had in a long time, service was 10/10 your Christmas tree was 1/10 just a few lights thrown on the tree could do better.

Amazing atmosphere, food so taste! Unique service… We were served by Zuzana, which made the place even more special with her dedication, professionalism and smile to serve us! Made our night even more special. ❤️

Great food in Sophie’s on Friday night. Would highly recommend the Steak and Duck.
