The Dew Drop

25/05/2025: Came in just before closing and wanted to buy two bottles of water and security guy came at me like he was possesed. I said two words trying to explain my needs and he cut my sentence and started being rude and aggresive. Not gonna go into details but I have never seen anything like it in 20 years living in Galway.
Avoid as much as possible.
I will be seeking to talk to the owner as this does not go down in 2025.

03/05/2025: The portion was a joke. It didn't even cover the bottom of the container.
30/04/2025: Their prices have gone up considerably since the pandemic, but the quality and portions kept their standards. The beef was tender, vegetables were fresh, rice was flavorful, and service was quick. This was one hearty meal indeed!

11/02/2025: I was there last sunday and let me say this place is a must go to bar when in galway the staff are so helpful when i was asking for directions and all my drinks were absolutely perfect i just love the place and wish i could go more often the atmosphere was so welcoming and cosy if i was to sum it up in one word it would be perfect

23/05/2025: I went yesterday and it was a huge surprise!! I have been living in Galway for a year now and I pass by this street millions of times. Last night we decided to enter and everything was delicious. I loved the cocktail menu variety and the food was stunning.
Everyone was really nice! Such a secret gem in the city

09/05/2025: Mi lugar favorito para almorzar. Escondido en una concurrida calle lateral el ambiente es suave y agradable. Duygu, que suele servirme, es una joya absoluta. Amable, amable y atento. Suelo ir por su bol spag ya que es delicioso y una gran porción. No puedo elogiar este lugar lo suficiente.
31/03/2025: I ordered a meal which says salad WITH fries. When the waitress came he asked me which one I wanted!!! I told him it supposed to come together and he said the menu was old!!! Ireland is a joke. Land without law! This place deserves 0 for the costumer service and honesty!

10/03/2025: Great atmosphere, went there after the Ireland v France game😥to cheer up and had a great time, have two areas for live music and they were both great, plus the beer garden out the back is brilliant, had outdoor seating with heaters. Would definitely recommend.

She was helpful and helped us find food when we needed it late at night due to a late arrival.
11/05/2025: I stayed here for work-related travel. It was pretty nice for the most part and the staff was very kind! There were a couple of bugs in my room, but otherwise, it was quite clean.

11/04/2025: If you’re craving fresh, quality Chinese food, Chopstick is a great choice. The dishes are flavorful and clearly made with care and good ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Rock - Coffee & Sandwich Bar

28/04/2025: Had my first visit by chance to the sandwich bar today and will be back for sure!
Delicious ham and cheese panini and the coffee was amazing.
All made better by the service too! I didn't get her name but the blonde girl serving customers was an absolute gem for a quick chat while youre waiting!
Could not recommend this place more!

13/05/2025: Food was good, prices are a little high for sandwiches, and a cookie is €5.50? Also got the order wrong, asked for a specific sandwich with the option of adding meat but when we got home no meat, quality of the food is top notch otherwise, would try again all being said.
23/04/2025: Ordered the mozzarelli and wowsas, easily the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Such a delicious lunch find, perfect for grabbing on the go. My sister ordered the notorious pig which was equally as good. Thanks to the friendly staff for the recommendations. Make sure you get the shambo sauce with your order, it’s a game changer 🤤

Clybaun hotel

07/04/2025: A perfect place for both business and private stays
10/03/2025: I have to say this is a wonderful hotel. I only live down the road, but had to stay during a blackout and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too, plenty of choice. Recently I've attended a function and the food was wonderful. Also I've been in the meeting rooms and they are bright and airy. All in all a super hotel, great food, staff and decor. Thumbs up from me!
