13/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a lovely brunch at Mocha Beans 37 and everything was great! We had the hot mocha and latte, along with the buttermilk chicken ciabatta and club sandwich. Everything was fresh, delicious, and really well prepared. The coffee was excellent, and the portions were satisfying. Great food, great coffee, and a lovely experience overall. Definitely worth a visit — we’ll be back! ☕️🥪

20/09/2026: Venice is a lovely, cosy restaurant offering a selection of authentic Italian dishes. We ordered the Penne Vegetariana and a vegetariana pizza, both of which were enjoyable. For dessert, we had the pistachio ice cream with brownie, which was a lovely way to finish the meal. The service was quick and friendly, and we particularly appreciated that the staff were happy to accommodate customisations for our vegetarian dietary requirements. A nice little touch was that they served Fanta in the original glass bottles, which added a nostalgic feel to the meal. Overall, it is a welcoming place with a nice atmosphere, whether you’re visiting with family and friends or looking for a cosy spot for a date night. I would definitely recommend giving Venice a try when you’re in Galway.

15/09/2026: Cute place, great pizza. Also had the lasagna which was good, not as good as the pizza though!

15/08/2026: Came with a group of 10 — I’m celiac and when we asked if I could bring in outside food before we decided to stay here, a man behind the bar said yes. So we ordered drinks and I went to grab some food. I was sitting eating happily with my friends. And then a different worker came and kicked me out. She had no sympathy for the fact that we checked beforehand and were told it was okay. In the end she said I could sit outside. There were no seats available so had to awkwardly balance with my drink at some sort of area covered in bird shit. They finally brought me a stool while refusing to make eye contact and I was isolated from all the rest of my friends. It was super degrading and made me feel horrible 🥲

11/08/2026: We stopped in today for a couple of Irish coffees in this quirky old Irish pub with plenty of character. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Unfortunately, the Irish coffees were a bit of a let-down. My brother had never tried one before, so this was his first experience, and it wasn't the best introduction. The coffee wasn't sweet at all, and the alcohol was much more prominent than it should have been. In my opinion, it wasn't made quite right. I've had Irish coffees in plenty of places, and they're usually smooth, well-balanced, and easy to drink. It certainly wasn't terrible, but it was probably the weakest Irish coffee I've had, which was surprising for an Irish pub. That said, the excellent service and the pub's unique atmosphere still made for an enjoyable visit.

22/07/2026: The Drew Drop Inn is my favorite pub in Galway. The staff is very friendly, and there is a room upstairs that is most of the time quiet, so we can spend quality time discussing with friends.

21/07/2026: Good selection of beers, very good.

19/09/2026: I visited as part of a food tour. I had a negroni made with local vermouth which might have been good, if I liked negronis. I would have preferred a whiskey drink. Also had two appetizers and a dessert. The appetizers were okay but I would have preferred something more authentic. The apple cake was good but would have benefited from being warm.

31/08/2026: This place has the best chocolate mousse ever! Hands down the finest. We also tried their pistacchio and raspberry cake, it was really yum too. This has to be one of your stops when you visit Galway.

30/08/2026: Sandwiches are very nice, the bread is fantastic. The cakes are nice but not outstanding. Stuff is never welcoming and unfriendly. Atmosphere lacks of cleanliness and care, toilets are really not in a good shape..

27/03/2026: Ordered on deliveroo about 2 hours before closing, food arrived about 20-30 minutes after they closed and an item (€9 burger) was completely forgotten, when calling the delivery driver, we were told we didnt order the burger despite it being on our receipt and having paid for it. We were then told to call the restaurant, which was closed! Unfortunate and frustrating that we didnt recieve an item that we paid for, the food we did recieve was still hot and fresh however and i have nothing bad to say about it :) Just very irritating and confusing that we did not recieve something we paid for :(

04/03/2026: Ordered over the weekend. From the time I ordered it only took 22minutes for it to arrive at my house. The food was fresh and hot when it got here. Pizza itself had a perfect ratio of ingredients. Definitely a fav spot to get pizza. Highly recommend!

24/08/2026: Was looking for a late bar in Galway, the rude staff really put me off. Avoid if possible.

09/08/2026: Absolutely loved it, the drag shows were amazing, the dj was possibly the best I've heard in Ireland, had an amazing time.

A special thanks to Mahi, whose friendly, attentive, and professional service made our visit even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended for excellent Asian cuisine in Galway!

07/08/2026: Enjoyed a lovely authentic Indian meal here with 2 of my mates. Staff were very kind and we felt very welcomed. 10/10 would recommend.

12/04/2026: handy spot This is a handy spot 20 minutes drive from Galway center. It is easy to get a bus or taxi to eyre square. Breakfast and rooms were good. I liked the canopied outdoor seating area. #ramblingstampcollectors

10/04/2026: Had a really nice stay at The Flannery's. We were able to check in about 3 hours early with no issues, which was a great start. The hotel was wheelchair friendly, the room was cozy and warm, and everything was kept clean throughout our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and having Netflix on the TV was a lovely bonus for those rainy days when the missus and I just wanted to stay in bed and have a movie day. The location was very handy too. The bus stop was only a 2 to 3 minute walk away, and buses ran every 10 to 15 minutes, even late at night, so getting around was easy. Breakfast being included was a big plus, and the food was tasty with both hot and cold options. Only complaint is the missus couldn’t find a croissant on the last day, which she may never fully recover from. Overall, very good value for money and a comfortable place to stay. We’d happily stay again.
