27/09/2025: This is a family restaurant with plenty of tables to accommodate you and u r friends. We were a party of ten and got served fast. The food was ok, nothing to complain about. The vegetable soup was tasty. Most of us got stakes and really enjoyed it.

30/08/2025: As a publican, I’ve never left a review before but this place needs one. Sat outside for 2 drinks and watch a doorman with an Australian accent be extremely rude to tourists and punters looking for a drink. He was cordial to us but abusive to many others.
Maybe he was having a bad day but I’ve never seen a front of house staff member act in such away.
22/08/2025: Very beautiful and quaint atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very, very good food. Highly recommended.

21/07/2025: We stayed at The Corrib House a few weeks ago. The location is perfect - on a quiet corner yet very close to all of the action in Galway!
The hotel is so clean, comfortable, and just a pleasure to be in. The breakfast was amazing, as was the breakfast room. The bedrooms were absolutely wonderful, so clean and the beds were very comfortable.
A big shout-out goes out to Alice, she was so nice and helpful to us. Every person who worked there always a had a smile on, and those little things make a big difference. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in Galway. 10/10 A++!

08/09/2025: We got a €5,99 Too Good to Go box (app against food waste).
We were really disappointed by the quality of the products, not expecting it from how highly this is rated on gmaps.
We received:
2x Blueberry oatcakes - no flavour whatsoever, stodgy, completely useless
Pau au choc - ok, tasted the same quality as Lidl bakery
Croissant - normal
Danish - we have no idea what flavour it was. Raspberry jam and linen seeds? Flavour forgettable and the bottom was not cooked.
3 sausage roll - horrible. Anemic, bottom not cooked, we can't even tell if they were vegan or they just didn't taste of meat. We couldn't finish them at all.
A few days prior we bought the frozen M&S sausage rolls and they were soo much better.
06/09/2025: I loved this place. Delicious food and the decor was a very classy Alice in Wonderland aesthetic.

29/09/2025: The sausage rolls and bread pudding are really impressive, I'd highly recommend them both.
20/08/2025: The kind, blonde lady recommended the Bread and Butter Pudding and it was so fresh and quite a treat! I loved the tartness of the cherry balanced with the custard, and a pleasant surprise of chocolate bits came through. If you're looking for fresh and high quality baked goods then come to Birdie Murphy's!

10/10/2025: Fantastic intimate venue. Came here for Bears Den at the end of September. Emailed ahead of time as I need assistance with accessibility (I walk with the help of a walking stick and cannot stand for long periods). A standing gig, but they had high stools available and we were able to sit by a table right in front of the stage. Fantastic experience.
04/10/2025: Not the best venue tired run down. No seatng for event and was supposed to start at 7pm. Had to leave early. Loved the talk

02/10/2025: We may not have been able to visit the Spanish Arch but we did manage to experience one of the best places in Galway. Whether it’s butter chicken or lamb biryani East Tandoori will supply you with a fantastic dinner.
