The Sliding Rock in Galway

The sliding rock, all I can say is a big thank you to the Mulholland family that own it and a big thank you to the staff Aidan, Steven,Ashling, Nicola for going over and beyond to provide a 5 star service for my father's funeral. The food is exceptional and the service was perfection. I highly recommend there for any function big or small.

Very accommodating.. last min booking for a family gathering. They accommodated a large family and did an amazing job. Food was lovely Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast included was super. Parking for guests is available. Thanks Aidan, Alan , Stephen and girls for everything

Very close to Galway hospital rooms small but very clean. Pub can be noisey at night, food excellent, excellent chef.

Excellent food, breakfast, lunch and dinners

Stayed here for a night,booked 2 rooms for 2 couples,we had free parking around the back and the place is close to salthill and few mins from the towns nightlife,before heading out we filled up on what was one of the best steak dinners i had in awhile,the rooms are small enough but only used for sleep but clean and had everthing we needed,wifi,tv,shower,kettle,tea,coffee and complimentry water bottles,The next morning we had breakfast and once again didnt disappoint,more fuel for the journey home,yes i would stay here again just for the food alone,staff were excellent also👍

We spent one night there in May. It was easy to access, the room and bathroom were clean, but very small. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might bother claustrophobic people. Despite the bar downstairs, we weren't bothered by the noise. The location is excellent; you're in the Claddagh district with its great restaurants in just a few minutes. The parking is convenient, although the entrance isn't the most practical, but that's the only minor drawback.
