A delicious brunch at this lovely café in Athlone. We ordered an iced coffee and a salmon bagel, and it was a great choice. The service was very friendly and attentive, and you could tell the food was fresh and very well prepared. A highly recommended spot for a relaxing and high-quality brunch. We'll definitely be back!

Varied menu with nice food, the staff were all very pleasant. Nice atmosphere but the hot water tap in the toilet, including the accessible toilet, were far too high of a temperature.

I had a nice breakfast at Cafe Bistro in Athlone. I ordered the fry and I enjoyed it. The food was tasty and well prepared. There was a bit of a wait for the order to be taken and for the food to arrive, but it was a Sunday lunchtime and quite busy, so it was understandable. Overall, a good experience with friendly service and nice food. I’d be happy to visit again.

French toast with bacon and maple syrup was amazing. Very nice latte. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing with some ambient music playing in the background. Very nicely priced too.

This review is abit late but Craft Bistro has the best customer service ever. I made an order through uber eats and they delivered to the wrong place. Called Craft Bistro to advise of the situation, and I spoke to Aaron who was very helpful and patient and helped me to report to uber eats and get my food. Thank you so much

17/09/2026: You cannot visit Galway's Latin Quarter without stopping at McDonagh's! We ordered the traditional fried cod and chips, and the portions were absolutely massive. The fish was incredibly fresh—perfectly crispy and golden on the outside while remaining light and juicy on the inside. I loved that the chips are cut fresh right on the premises rather than being frozen. You order at the counter, and the food comes out remarkably fast even though the place is always packed with energy. It has a great, casual, historic maritime vibe with shared picnic-style tables. Fast service, great prices, and delicious tartar sauce. A flawless, authentic Irish chippy experience that I’ll be dreaming about until my next trip back to Ireland!

Clybaun hotel

07/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic hotel , perfect for the Galway Cup , food amazing also Pool and gym and close to city and salt hill only 8mins drives. Love that they also have a sensory room ♥️🤝
16/07/2026: My holiday at Clybaun Hotel was fantastic! 🤩 The rooms were so comfortable, and the service was excellent. I loved the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. 😌 The location is brilliant too; there's a bus stop literally right outside with links to the city center! 🚌 Absolutely perfect stay. ✨
