Friendly staff but one of the worst croissants I’ve ever had unfortunately - pale, cold, not flaky, lacking that nice buttery smell

Ordered a birthday cake at beginning of the week and picked later on in the week with no issues. Would recommend getting cakes from here, tasty and good quality.

For a good dessert in Ireland, you either settle for bakeries with essentially no cream (scones and brownies) or seek out a French patisserie. This one is right in the center, on a side street off the large and crowded Shop Street. The triple-chocolate mousse and lemon tart are excellent. €10 for two. They don't serve tables, so you'll have to either take your dessert to go or eat it yourself (there's a price difference). Because of this difference, one would expect the tables (both inside and on a small outdoor veranda) to be cleaned more frequently. Petit!

4-5 gluten free options are available at this lovely French bakery. I had the blueberry muffin and it was delicious! Soft and moist

We ordered two cakes online, and the process was quick and easy. Pick-up was smooth, and everything was well packaged and ready when we arrived. We chose the Triple Chocolate and Toblerone cakes. The Triple Chocolate was everyone’s favorite — it’s more like an entremet than a traditional cake, absolutely delicious and not overly sweet. The Toblerone cake was more of a creamy dessert with a tart-style base. I personally liked it, but it didn’t compare to the Triple Chocolate. The staff were extremely polite and efficient, providing fast and friendly service.

We got the Triple Chocolate Mousse cake from here and it was absolutely delicous. There was a layer of something like chocolate sponge cake at the bottom as a base, with thick layers of dark to light mousse on top, and biscuits with swirls of white chocolate mousse to finish off. The mousse wasn't overly sweet, and was quite rich in flavour, which was really nice, and it paired very well with the sponge and ganache topping. Sometimes you'd expect to get a really sick feeling after having strong/rich chocolate, however the combinations balanced out well. Best eaten chilled if you really wanna enjoy the cake. If you're not looking to get a whole cake, they do mini versions for around €4-€5, but even then, it was very worth its price.
