Galway Bay Seafoods in Galway

Hands down the best fish and chips we had from Kenmare to Galway. The fish came off the boat in the morning. Tony takes his pick along with the sushi place in the same space. The fish was cooked perfectly and the batter light and tasty. Extremely friendly people and fun to be right on the working docks of Galway.

Walked over there to get seafood, which I love. There’s a counter to buy fresh fish, looks so good. There’s a fish & chip side which closes at 3:00 so we didn’t get that. There’s a sushi side that also sells fish & chips so we ordered that. I got a big, thick, generous piece of fresh cod that was so perfect I wanted to cry. It was outstanding. Maybe the best piece of fried fish I have ever eaten. Maybe just lucky. I would go here if I were you.

My parents came to visit us after 4 years, so, I wanted to treat them to something special, who should you call in this case? Galway Bay Seafoods (not Ghostbusters 🤣). As they live in the Czech Republic where there is no sea, you can't imagine how much they appreciate fresh seafood. I ordered scallops, crab claws, full side of fresh Atlantic salmon and smoked salmon too and they delivered this order to our front door. We had lunch fit for Kings! I can't praise Galway Bay Seafoods enough!
