The Blue Note in Galway

Great pub for the ceol agus craic. Live music, cozy booths and friendly service. They don't do food and the patio can be quite smoky when it gets full up. Live music, a good pint, and good people. What else could you need?

Some staff aggressive and vengegull, not inclusive at times...and difficult to communicate with, not easy to communicate with.. ,

Enjoyed a few beers and ciders while listening to Traditional Irish live music. There are no bad seats to hear the music. Very friendly patrons, a few different couples joined our table through the night. The bathroom stall didn’t lock, but the restroom was stocked with paper and soap.

I never this bar before until this day, and I am impressed with the interiors and work🤍 All vintage and modern vibes coming together at the blue note 🎵 Live music day would be crazy here, now one of my fav bars in Galway after O’connells and the hole in the wall! My fav here is cherry beer, can’t wait to try it again!

Came across this pub last night while out with my daughter. Dogs, straight, gay, and everything in between were there. An absolutely relaxed environment with wonderful patrons and an amazing bar staff that were incredibly fun to talk to and made for a great night. Thank you ladies!

Nice place with a wider selection of beer than some other pubs. I got a Hefe in Galway.

I’m glad I had the opportunity to drop in. It wasn’t too busy while we were there, but not empty either. I wish we had the opportunity to catch some live music, but everything else was perfect.
