Salthill Hotel in Galway

We had a 5 night stay and I have to say it was a fabulous experience. My wife has MND and I explained this when booking as I was a bitter nervous with our first hotel stay since diagnosis but everything was done by the hotel to make our visit just right including putting a shower seat in the bathroom for my wife. From check in to check out everything was so perfect my wife wants me to look at booking another break later in the year

Just back from a weekend in the hotel....it was brilliant. Great staff and rooms. Lovely food. But its the location, I mean directly across from the sea and the beach. Walking the promenade and getting fresh air. The best.

The hotel is in a great location right on the water! Breakfast is okay, it’s a decent spread but definitely underwhelming compared to other stays in Ireland and id recommend getting there early, it’s night and day compared to coming late when it’s packed and picked at. Also would’ve loved to have scones. Lastly room was great, only thing is it was quite dirty and the shower only had one temperature and that’s extra hot. For the price I paid I’d argue that it was unacceptable to have dirt visible on the couch.

I recently stayed with friends here, we found the staff so helpful, friendly, and the breakfast was a very relaxed experience. Bar food excellent and not expensive. Bus service outside door was a great bonus and enjoyed lovely walks on the promenade in the mornings. Highly recommend this hotel

One of the best hotels Ive been in for a long time. Rhe most friendly staff that looked genuinely happy to be doing their job with genuine friendly. Great atmosphere and location. Brilliant food and swimming facilities for both 8 and 16 year old kids as well as adults. Definitely going back in autumn

The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately, the breakfast is very basic and repetitive; the bread and other items are dry. The advertised indoor pool is a public one, and swimming caps are mandatory. It's very noisy, as children's groups also use it for lessons, so it's not a relaxing place. The restaurant in the evening doesn't offer much choice and is a bit overpriced considering the portion size. The location is good; you can quickly reach the beach and the nearest bus stop in about 10 minutes.
