Very quaint and authentic. Friendly staff, no long wait for food and drinks – the stew and pie were delicious, and the prices, even for the Guinness, were perfectly reasonable. If you want to try Irish cuisine beyond fish and chips, this is the place to go. We were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

Good place to eat; they have a set menu of starters, main course, and coffee for €26.90. One drawback is that the side vegetables are the same for all dishes.

The food was ready very quickly, so it couldn't have been freshly prepared. The lasagna came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I personally find that combination odd. But the side dish was cold and tasteless. The lasagna itself was delicious.

The food was excellent it tastes like something your Grandma would make for you, the Stew was fantastic with melt in your mouth pieces of lamb it was warm hearty and oh so filling! The roast chicken was juicy, and well salted served with a thin gravy to enjoy the chicken and mashed potatoes with. Over all excellent food and great atmosphere. The best description I could give you is that it feels like a medieval roadside inn it's quaint cozy warm and smells delicious! Could not recommend it more!

Food was passable but nothing special. Vegetables were boiled/steamed and just cooked. The roast chicken was okay, chicken breast would have been better than a leg though. Gravy was good but not enough. Expensive for what we got. Would not go again.

I had my second visit to Finnegans in July 2026 and very much enjoyed my meal. I had a Chicken Kiev that came with a good portion of side vegetables, followed by a slice of Bailey's Cheesecake. There were a lot of interesting things to look at on the walls while we waited/had our drinks!
