A gem of a golf course. It was in fantastic condition with fast greens. Some of the views over Galway Bay are incredible. Excellent short game practice areas. The clubhouse is beautiful with food food and even better staff. A very enjoyable day out.

Good course very close to the attractions of Salthill & Galway City. Lovely clubhouse, very good menu & not that expensive. Well worth having a meal after your round of golf.

22/10/2025: Stopped in for a quick Irish coffee, stayed for a couple pints after that. Nice cozy spot. Bartenders friendly and welcoming- even when it gets very busy :)

Gourmet Food Parlour Salthill

29/08/2026: We visited there yesterday for dinner. We all ordered the catch of the day. The salmon was exceptional! It honestly may have been some of the best salmon I’ve eaten. I’ve had the salmon at Ashford castle and this was better! The beet hummus was fresh and portion was large enough to share with 3 adults. The service was delightful and so very kind. I will be back. Highly recommend
