Kelehans Bar & Restaurant in Galway

Well, we had a bad experience there due to poor service. While we were enjoying our beers we discovered that the couch we were sitting on was completely wet, we didn't know what it was, I don't want to think about it... and one of us needed to go away to change their trousers as they were completely soaked. We asked for at least one free pint due to the damage of clothes as a refund for the inconvenience, and it was refused. We were only brought a roll of blue paper that was just left on the table, not sure what the purpose of that was. That's not a great way to treat regular customers who bought food and drinks there many times in the past years. I do not suggest this place anymore.

This bar is beloved to my wife and I now. The staff was great, the food was great, and the pints were great. We stayed at the Glenlo Abbey and walked to this pub every night we were there. Coming back every time we stay in Galway

Amazing! Great comfort food. Friendly service and very patient with us. Our 1st day here from the states, we were very tired and hungry. This place hit all the spots. Not very busy but a great find. 2 of us had the beef stew and one the steak sandwich. Highly recommend!

Had two gorgeous lunches here. Been meaning to go back. Bacon and cabbage, a quarter cabbage fried in butter - delicious. And also a turkey and ham with creamy potatoes. Top class

Pints. Tayto. A warm fire. What more could you ask for? Perhaps a gluten free meal, but as that is not on offer at Kelehans, I will settle for another pint :)

This is my third time coming to kelehans and it never disappoints. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We got chicken wings, braised beef, chicken burger and sticky toffee pudding! Generous portions and very fresh, we will be back!

Great food. Great service. Reasonably priced

Attended an occasion here and we had an absolutely brilliant evening. The place was buzzing, with traditional music playing in the main bar and great entertainment throughout the night. The event was held in a private room which had a really cosy feeling and was beautifully decorated. The bar staff were absolutely on point, service was quick and professional. We didn’t have food as we had eaten earlier, but everyone who did said it was lovely. We had a blast and would definitely return!
