Kelehans Bar & Restaurant in Galway

We had a delicious dinner of roast beef, potatoes and carrots, also tried the wings very good. Service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.

We spent 10 days in Ireland including 3 days in Galway and this pub made our holiday magical! Thanks to Darren and his team for welcoming us so warmly and providing us with delicious food! The food is world class and the service is outstanding! For us one of the best pubs in Ireland. We were there two evenings in a row on Thursday and Friday and were able to experience live music with "The Jukebox John" on Friday evening, what a joy. The visit with you was really worth it and I would like to chat about football with Darren again, so we have to go back to Ireland and definitely back to Kelehans! Thanks for everything, mate!!! 🍻🫶

I have been to Kelehans a few times since Christmas for evening meals and Sunday lunch. There was a nice atmosphere on every occasion and the food was good. My only annoyance on every occasion was the centre piece fireplace. On every occasion there was no fire on. Last Sunday there was a bag of coal left beside the fire place. The timber was not stacked very neatly. The firelighters and the shovel etc were also thrown there. It does not give a good impression of the place. Called for lunch on 21st March. There was a lovely, glowing fire, and a lovely tidy fireplace. The atmosphere was very welcoming, staff very friendly and the lunch was delicious.

Stopped in for some brunch before a long day out in Galway. We all went for the traditional Irish breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious! Very generous portions (couldn’t finish it all!) and everything was cooked perfectly. We were meant to get orange juice with the order which was unfortunately missed off, but we didn’t realise until afterwards and then didn’t really want it. The pub itself is cosy and the decor is lovely and stylish. It was raining on our visit but sitting in the warm looking out was the perfect vibe. There’s also a sheltered smoking area outside which is great too.

Needs a mature manager, floors a bit unswept. Beer garden area needs a freshen up. Food occasionally a bit bland.

The place reopened recently after renovation. Retained kind of traditional irish setting but new!! Nice fire place. Had pint of G with fish n chips: excellent ! Outside area: to be enjoyed in the summer time.

Not much selection for someone that is coeliac or lactose free . Menu very limited.

Have been to Kelehans around 10 times since it opened for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is local to us so delighted to have it back open. First few times everything was great, but the past handful of times have been really disappointing. The standard of the food and cleanliness of the place is starting to slip, I wont be going back again.

Poor choice in evening menu..staff could have been nicer. Nice bar
