Clayton Hotel Galway in Galway

It is a bit far from Galway. You can get the 401&409 there. It has a great swimming pool and a gym. The breakfast was immaculate.

The hotel in a hole never mind the rooms are far to warm. You air con does not work ( i had the same issue with the clayton airport hotel. my husband ended up sleeping on the floor near the window.) That needs to be fixed. Its very uncomfortable. We stayed in room 152. There was nothing in the room. Usually you would see a folder with information in it, nothing! There was no robes. It just seemed like there was no care for the people staying in the hotel.

Had a work event here recently and it was very well run. Food was good, location was good and staff were attentive.

Sweeny was an outstanding worker, he made the best cocktails I’ve ever had and gave me loads of information about galway. He was very friendly and he made my experience in Galway so much better. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Louise at reception was extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly. Even while dealing with a large group of guests and working under pressure, she handled everything calmly and professionally. The food was enjoyable, and the room and shower were spotless. All of the staff were pleasant and professional throughout my stay. I had a great experience and would happily return again.

A little far from the city centre. Service is excellent. Staff seasoned and well behaved. Fix the problem promptly. Tea cattle, Iron Stand with iron, biscuits, a chocolate box, chips packet and Water bottles provided free of charge. Swimming pool and Gym facility.
