C’est la Vie Fabrique Boulangerie Café in Galway

I was in Galway with my wife “The Boss” and I looked at google maps to find a nice family run restaurant for lunch whin I discovered this lovely French bakery and it was only 6 minutes drive from where I was. The bakery is very homely with a lovely old style about it. My wife had a croissant with Swiss cheese and ham, I had a sourdough baguette filled with chicken and salad, we both had very decent mugs of tea. I have to say that the croissant was delicious and the baguette had a lovely crust. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We talked to the owner before we left and complemented her bakery and staff and of course she is French. I can highly recommend this bakery. And while you are there tryout the greengrocers next door.

A small, charming bakery. Lovely atmosphere. You can watch the baking and enjoy the experience. The croissant and sandwich were excellent. The lemon tart was delicious.

The interior has a great rustic vibe, being able to see the bakery and watching the pastries being prepared is very unique. However, we found the seating to be uncomfortable due to the uncomfortable chairs and they charge a premium on all purchases to eat in on every item which we found unnecessary. Service was good overall. Coffee was fantastic

Great products and wonderful service. As a tourist it was out of the way but worth the effort of getting there. The bonus was a great vegetable place next door. Thanks

Went in for coffee and pastries. We tried a pain au raisin and almond croissant. Probably best pastry I’ve had including from France. Really flaky.

A lovely little cafe and bakery. I had a croissant sandwich with elemental, tomato and pesto that was delicious. The latte was perfect and did not need any sugar.

Great little cafe in an industrial park. My wife and I often stop by for lunch after going to Goals Gym a couple of doors down.
