Best croissants my husband has ever had (he is a croissant fanatic). Lovely people working the counter are always hustling. Lots of other legit looking French pasties and sandwiches. Check it out!

Lovely little French bakery right by there hotels, so if you fancy something different I would recommend. Great coffee, and strong tea. Called authentically French, French tourists were in there and enjoying it!

A great find on Google and the reviews didn't disappoint, came twice for breakfast during our stay in Galway, coffee is great and pastries/Croque Monsieur were amazing, made in their on-site bakery ❤️ this should be part of your life;)

The Kasbah Wine Bar

02/07/2026: Absolutely incredible experience! The atmosphere was amazing, the food and drinks were delicious, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The espresso martinis were an 11/10—some of the best I’ve had! We went for the cheese fondue, and even though it wasn’t on the menu anymore, the staff kindly asked the kitchen and made it for us, which was such a lovely touch. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back again!
15/06/2026: Have had two lovely evenings at Kasbah recently with family and friends and can't wait to return. Food is delicious (empanadas, croquetas & charcuterie a highlight), an excellent wine list with a great selection of wines by glass, carafe and bottle and delicious, imaginative cocktails. They also do a brilliant Taco Thursdays with your choice of margharita and a taco for €12. The staff there are absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend for a cosy evening with great people watching views over Quay street.

14/11/2025: Update two years on from the below: still absolutely unreal. Nostalgia can sometimes give me high hopes but Antons always delivers. The eggs are as gorgeous as they always have been and its a lovely calm morning full of clear regulars in for the best grub and relaxing start to the day. Recently revisited Antons for the first time since before the pandemic and it was refreshing to experience it only getting better. The best scrambled eggs in Ireland without a doubt, and a lovely space to enjoy them in. Loved for years and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly
