Update.. chips are rocking in the Oslo bar again. As always excellent service and very nice staff. Great beers, great atmosphere, great staff.. Nice to sit outside on a fine day and enjoy Salthill, keep it up Oslo Bar

A really nice bar/pub! The choice of beers is truly exhaustive and original. A plus for the practical giant screen if you want to watch matches!

Good beer! Great food! Service could have been better. Kinda ignored from door open. Food came very late, full comp tho!! 🔥 Others arrived after us and were fed and gone before we got food, we watched others have the time of their life so probably a five star spot! 😎

Had lunch here yesterday with my adult daughter. It was absolutely gorgeous & tasty. We had a lentil curry & fish Cury delicious. The barman was so cheery & welcoming & there was a lovely fire. We were able to look out at the sea. It was a lovely find & we will definitely be back. Highly recommend it. Thank you Michèle from Clare

The Connacht Hotel - Ruebens Restaurant

27/03/2024: This hotel deserves much higher than the 3 star rating..it is spotlessly clean from the warm welcoming reception to the well decorated bar/ restaurant. rooms are spacious and well equipped. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and nothing disappointed, so fresh and good value for money. The pool is lovely and the location suited us perfect . Special mention to the singer in the bar on Tuesday..something for everyone. We throughly enjoyed our mini break and would highly recommend this hotel .
26/03/2024: Very nice hotel. The hotel bar in particular is highly recommended. Good mood. The room was really a positive surprise for the price! Unfortunately, the breakfast was a bit disappointing in comparison, as the breakfast room was also very loud. The location is a little outside. It was easy to park there by car. However, you had to drive into the city.
