12/06/2025: I came here last year and I had a wonderful time. The live music was fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were so kind and attentive. One staff member in particular Nicole was a gem. She catered to all of our needs and had amazing service. We decided to come back this month and I was sad to hear she wasn't working there anymore. But the atmosphere was still great nonetheless!!

24/06/2025: Super nice vibe to this place and staff is very polite and gracious. Had a delicious coffee and a brownie. Was fab!

24/06/2025: This place has really good coffee! They also have a unique front door. The interior is quite strange, but I think it fits the Irish trend. I'm glad I was here and I think I'll be back.

09/07/2025: Vino por recomendación de un agente de viajes escocés y estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Buen aspecto y ambiente estilo bistró. Pequeño menú del día con generoso aperitivo del chef como entrada. Filetes de alta calidad y cocinados a la perfección y servidos con una generosa guarnición a elección. Vinos Francés por copa y botella (tomamos Pinot Noir de Pay's D'Oc) de buena calidad. Buena selección de postres y helados. Personal amable aunque un poco caótico al principio, por eso le doy 4 estrellas en lugar de 5. Vale la pena visitarlo cuando estés en Galway.

22/06/2025: I came to Rouge in April 2019 when I lived in Galway and now I came back, I had a dinner this week on Wednesday and I have to say the food has nothing absolutely nothing to do with the one from 2019. The dishes are far more flavourful, made perfectly like in a French restaurant and I have been to France many times ^^ the transformation is extraordinary and I think the new chef is someone who deserves recognition because it was really incredible what he has prepared for us.

05/06/2025: An authentic pub with friendly staff. It features a typically Irish decor. Cool craft beers, and if you sit outside, you can listen to the street musicians.

11/07/2025: We had a really nice lunch in here a week ago. The service was really good, the food was tasty, and the restaurant itself is very nice. I had the bacon chop with a delicious sauce, it was really tasty, and the others I was with had the seafood dish which they said was great too. Thank you for a lovely experience.

13/07/2025: After a week of eating fish and chips, French fries, mashed potatoes, and every conceivable variety of stew during our trip to Ireland, we were desperate for—and craving—some good pizza. With the usual reluctance typical of Italians when venturing into an Italian restaurant abroad, we decided to give this place in Galway a try. The choice proved to be a good one: the pizza was truly excellent, with expertly crafted dough and quality toppings. Of particular note is the Parma ham used for Pizza Italia, which is hard to find abroad but excellent. The staff was courteous and efficient. Special mention goes to the pizza chef and the chef, two Italians originally from Bitonto (Bari), who, with great professionalism and, above all, passion, create authentic cuisine faithful to Italian tradition.

06/07/2025: Vaffanc*lo truly shines with its excellent Frutti di Mare and pizza! The Frutti di Mare was incredibly fresh and flavorful, packed with a generous assortment of perfectly cooked seafood. Each bite was a delight. And the pizza? Absolutely spot on. The crust was crisp and chewy, and the toppings were high-quality and well-balanced. I highly recommend this place if you're a fan of either dish. You won't be disappointed!

23/06/2025: Small busy place. Food is tasty but too bad the hygiene is substandard. A thorough cleaning is more than necessary. The photos are some examples.

23/06/2025: The perfect wine bar. Cosy, welcoming, a great selection of wines, and excellent recommendations if you don't know what you want. The food boards are presented with thought and care and you are guaranteed to get something interesting and new each time you visit.

14/06/2025: I normally dont post reviews but this one deserved one. The owner is incredibly rude. The staff is nice and food is good. I actually came here three days in a row and bought a lot of food until i met the owner. He was sooo rude especially to Women!! Being a man he had no respect and was almost yelling! I dont mind following rules but nothing gives you the right to be so pretentious, disrespectful and pathetic. He was also smashing the glasses on the table while cleaning it and had a terrible facial expression. Im honestly shocked this guy had no manners and clearly it showed. I will never visit again and also advise everyone not to come here if you want a civilised, decent time out. Edit : owner says i wasnt a customer but i actually have a picture of my receipt since i dined there three days in a row and no nothing is false the owner was very rude and loud and disrespectful. When asked about the wait time he said “i dont know stand outside i cant have you stand in here” very rudely lol
