03/04/2026: 5/5 for everything, blissful experience - we recommend the spring rolls, chicken sweet and sour, Thai Red Curry - all splendid. The service was excellent and staff are lovely.

16/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was still quiet in the early evening. We had three different burgers with delicious fries and amazing garlic sauce. Simply fantastic! A bit off the beaten tourist track, definitely worth a visit. The service was also excellent.

21/07/2026: This is a really nice cafe. My overall 4 rating is because the menu doesn't offer enough choices. Otherwise for what's on the menu and the service plus parking etc is 5 star. Have been on many occasions as I have moved to Roscam from the city centre.

13/07/2026: Top coffee spot. Any time we are back in Galway we will spin by here for coffee, it never disappoints. Limited seating and parking is tricky.

21/07/2026: Chipeen is exactly what you expect from a dedicated chips hole in the wall. If I lived nearby, I'd be in trouble.

18/07/2026: A unique spot that sells only fresh chips! They chop the potatoes right in front of you and fry them fresh to order. No frozen chips here, and you can absolutely taste the difference! Even the Galway seagulls can't stay away! 🐦😄 Highly recommend!

01/07/2026: Delicious food. I wish it were open after 5PM. The cafe opens at 10AM. I wish it were open earlier because the food is simply the best.

29/07/2026: There's sushi and then there's The Sushi and the art of making it with care, taste and precision. Everything I had was created with love for the food, presentation and balance in taste. I had the Kara-age, salmon omakase, miso soup and salmon cucumber rolls. The owner explained kindly to me that they make their own miso soup with Shiitake and the miso was one of the best I hyve ever had. Sincere Thank you very much for the experience, delicious food and kind chats to your last client of the day. Will be back next time when in Galway!

24/07/2026: This was such a lovely, calming experience. It was a very intimate setting and the Agedashi Tofu and Miso Soup were really tasty.

19/07/2026: I’m so glad we found this café today! It was the first place where I finally had a really great coffee. We came back later for some cakes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even more special. You can really feel the care they put into both their service and their food. Highly recommend this lovely café if you’re in Galway. We’ll definitely be back!

15/07/2026: A great traditional pub, lovely staff. Only marking down as the batter on our fish and chips was quite stale and seemed like it had been sat cold for a while. Also the toilets were quite dirty and the toilet seat wasnt attached.

11/07/2026: Having recently moved into their beautiful new space, Plámás is already one of Galway’s must visit cafés for specialty coffee lovers. On my first visit, I ordered an oat milk latte and waited around 5 to 8 minutes, which was perfectly reasonable considering how busy they were. While waiting, I couldn’t help but notice the crowd. The place has a really creative vibe, full of young artists, designers and people happily chatting over coffee. Plámás also sells bags of Geometry Coffee Roasters beans, along with coffee merchandise and a tempting selection of fresh pastries and buns. Their coffee is smooth, lightly roasted and beautifully balanced, bringing out delicate fruity sweetness and bright acidity rather than the heavier chocolate notes you get from darker roasts. It made for a wonderfully clean and enjoyable oat latte. The new location feels warm, stylish and full of character. If you’re looking for quality specialty coffee in Galway, Plámás is definitely worth a visit.

06/07/2026: Dare I say best coffee Ive ever had? I got a latte for takeaway and after leaving, my friend asked to try and and also loved it so much we had to walk back! The staff are extremely kind and would definitely go back!
