21/04/2026: Lovely authentic French restaurant. Limited menu offering fish of the day, duck, striploin steak or fillet of beef. If cooked rare, it is very bloody. If well done, it can be cinderised. Medium is a good option. Steak tasty, if a little chewy. Other dishes were nice. The starters in particular were delicious, as were the desserts. Piano was playing in the background over a lot of chatter. Very attentive service from an international staff. Our lovely waitress was from Brittany. Great night overall. Popular and busy. It is important to book. Ideal for that special occasion. Merci à tous!

20/02/2026: We went to the restaurant without a reservation, but they were very kind and found us a table. Just as their menu says, it's not a fast-food restaurant: the burgers were delicious and the service was fantastic. It was a great find near our hotel, and we're very happy with it. Absolutely recommended.

07/04/2026: Toasties and chowder are to die for. Favorite pub in galway as it’s so cozy if you can manage to get a table. Staff is always wonderful and attentive. Interior is sick always spot something new. Must try it out!

26/12/2025: Excellent pancakes. I got the one with Nutella and strawberries. There's also a nice Italian guy in the place. Well done! Recommended.

03/05/2026: The Connacht is just a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and always full of life and different events going on. But what struck me the most were the staff, they just couldn't do enough to help. Would highly recommend the hotel and especially for events but also the Sports and Leisure Centre is really great.

01/05/2026: A truly lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We had a modern, clean room. There is ample free parking. Ideal for those arriving by car. A perfect location for excursions to Connemara and the Burren. Even Galway city center is just a few bus stops away. We highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: I had a great time at Freeney's Bar. Proper cozy Irish pub atmosphere and a really well-poured Guinness. The place feels authentic, relaxed, and perfect whether you just want a quiet pint or a chat with friends. Friendly service and a great spot to sit and watch the street while enjoying a drink. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. Sláinte! 🍺

03/04/2026: Tiny sushi spot with a small menu of incredibly fresh and delicious sushi, nigiri, sashimi and Japanese dishes. Worth a visit if you are looking for a change up from more traditional fare.

19/04/2026: We ordered truffle fries, the truffle burger, and the 5 Smash. The meat was good, but it had absolutely no truffle flavor. The fries tasted only of onion. The truffle mayo was sour cream. The burgers were small. We ordered a Coke, they didn't bring it, and they tried to charge us for it. A disappointment.

03/05/2026: The food is very good and tasty. Both the drinks and the dishes are beautifully presented. We were served by Ana, who was very attentive and polite and provided us with excellent service. The music and the vibe of the place are great too. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

17/12/2025: My friends and I has a meal in this restaurant last weekend and the food was sublime...Everything freshly cooked as we waited, the lady serving was friendly and attentive too her customs. Will definitely return..

19/11/2025: The music is too loud, the seating is subpar, the patrons are often obnoxious. The best part about it is the kind staff, and the cool art around the place. But that cannot save this place from bad clientele. Oh, and the drinks are too expensive.
