The Connacht Hotel - Ruebens Restaurant in Galway

This hotel deserves much higher than the 3 star rating..it is spotlessly clean from the warm welcoming reception to the well decorated bar/ restaurant. rooms are spacious and well equipped. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and nothing disappointed, so fresh and good value for money. The pool is lovely and the location suited us perfect . Special mention to the singer in the bar on Tuesday..something for everyone. We throughly enjoyed our mini break and would highly recommend this hotel .

Very nice hotel. The hotel bar in particular is highly recommended. Good mood. The room was really a positive surprise for the price! Unfortunately, the breakfast was a bit disappointing in comparison, as the breakfast room was also very loud. The location is a little outside. It was easy to park there by car. However, you had to drive into the city.

Great hotel. The swimming pool is good. It has sauna. Good service and staff are polite and helpful.

Great hotel, staff and food was delicious. My daughter loved the kids club. Definitely a hotel to return to.

We recently enjoyed a stay at this hotel. St Patrick’s day led a lot of tourists to Galway City, and the capacity at The Connacht Hotel did not affect our stay whatsoever. Overflowing with families and happy children made the experience even more enjoyable as every guest you passed was smiling and full of excitement and happiness including the kids (and ours) of all ages. The rooms were pristine, the food was amazing and the services was outstanding! The dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner was immaculate. The staff could not do enough for you. The staff are so polite and friendly. The hotel was spotless, so clean and fresh which made us feel so comfortable sleeping and eating there. We stayed with our 4 children aged from 9mts - 7 yrs. we stayed in a room which had a double bed, two singles and a gorgeous little teepee tent set up for our 3yr old. Unfortunately the families rooms were sold out but we were still as satisfied with our given room. Reservations pulled it off and managed to accommodate us all. We look forward to staying at this hotel again very soon. To anyone thinking of making a booking, you won’t be let down, make the booking! 5 stars for this place!

Love it! Great family room, great service and good swimming pool and gym.

Fantastic experience. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 4 children under 6 and it was such a lovely experience. The kids club and swimming pool was a dream and they have an amazing state of the art gym. Staff was so lovely and food fab. Well done and thank you. We are looking forward to returning. Thanks to the manager for the lovely friendly fellow caps the children received and they loved their passports!! We are looking forward to returning.
