Salsa - Authentic Mexican Food in Galway

Wonderful food and great staff. Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I loved the acqua fresca!

We were craving burritos after having drinks and our friend absolutely demolished their bathroom and stayed vomiting in there for an hour. The staff were super nice and understanding about it and gave us free water to keep him alive. We felt so bad and tipped them well (we had to force them to accept the tip). It certainly was a chaotic experience but I wouldn't have wanted to have it at another restaurant! The food was amazing, the portions were so big, we had to take them home (we had them for breakfast the next day - also tastes amazing microwaved). There's also vegan and vegetarian options that are actually tasty! The restaurant is really cute and colorful and their music goes insanely hard.

Excellent place, authentic Mexican dishes, and the kids are very friendly.

We had amazing food and the welcome to the 8 people we were with no reservations was great and really appreciated. Enrique and Daniel got our dinners super fast, noticing how hungry we were and... oh man, was it tasty and amazing. Thank you very much for everything and totally recommended.

Literally the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. Mexican is my favorite cuisine, and I thought we had some good Mexican places in Cork, but I don't think I'll ever be able to go to them again after trying Salsa! I've never been to Mexico, but I'm guessing this is the next best thing - amazing tacos, and I'll be coming straight back here next time I'm in Galway

Great flavor !! Authentic tacos

I've been there with my mexican friend yesterday (20/1/24). The burrito was the BEST I've ever had, loads of pulled beef, not too spicy (I'm German, we can't eat that spicy ;-) ) and so f***** delicious! My friend had the tacos and it was almost like the "Harry & Sally Restaurant Scene" :-D Lovely fella behind the counter, friendly and helpful. As soon as we're back to Galway, we'll come back again! Thank you guys!

Mexican approved!!!!! Truly authentic Mexican taste, furthermore, staff super attentive and fast service 10/10/ we will be back soon!!! Food is really tasty and in generous portion. We had lots of laughs with our friends from Salsa authentic Mexican food sharing our memories in Mexico!! I personally wish them the very best and hope next time I’m here I see them again!!

Nice food, very authentic. Lovely pulled pork. Sauces where tasty too. Tofas came with a consomme broth real mexican flavours, gorgeous. Not a huge amount of seating about six tables, two large. Nice staff. Not the cheapest but it is good quality and authentic so worth the price. Sum up credit card so expect to tip. Clean up after yourself is not unusual for Galway.
