The Dew Drop in Galway

Wandered in looking for Beamish and was not disappointed. Had a lively chat about basketball (of all things), met a stone carver who looked like me, and managed to hide 4 or 5 pints in my stomach. This was back at the end of July during the races. Fantastic time. This will be the first pub I visit upon my return. Someday. (I didn't rate food because I didn't eat anything there. But wherever you are, get the stew...)

The Dew Drop Inn is one of Galway's historic institutions, located in the heart of the vibrant Latin Quarter. Originally opened in 1902 and also known locally as Myles Lee, it is often described as "Galway's friendliest pub" and is operated by the Galway Bay Brewery group.

Best pints & best music playing

This pub was such a random find, but it completely stole our hearts. We ended up coming back every single day!

Nice for a fast-food place in a small town.

Tonight was the open mic jazz night and it was absolute joy.. highly recommended

The Drew Drop Inn is my favorite pub in Galway. The staff is very friendly, and there is a room upstairs that is most of the time quiet, so we can spend quality time discussing with friends.

Good selection of beers, very good.
