A very stylish pub, wonderful food and top-notch service! Very short wait for food. Desserts were delicious, but a bit too large.

I only tasted the wine this time. I saw that other people's food was very delicious. I will definitely come back for lunch.

Truly delicious dinner! The waitresses who welcomed us were very kind. The kitchen was about to close, but they let us dine anyway...and we were lucky because we were very satisfied. We had fish soup, fish and chips, and beef in red wine. Of course, a Guinness was a must. Compliments to the chef and also to the staff, who were kind and efficient. We will gladly return. We really enjoyed the live music.

We had a great meal and some drinks there in a fantastic atmosphere. We'll be back.

We were over in Galway for a week and ended up coming here twice, for lunch. Both times I was impressed with the food - sounds like a basic pub menu but tastes and is presented like you’re in a top restaurant - the staff and the place itself. We felt very welcome here and the staff were lovely, attentive (not intrusively so), and nothing seemed a bother to them. Great atmosphere too. We shall be returning.

Very good food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I had the seafood chowder and my wife had the potato leek soup. Clearly "the local" for some people. Definitely recommend.

I visited Tom Sheridan’s four times during my six-day stay in Ireland, and I think that already says a lot. The pub is beautiful, with an authentic Irish atmosphere that still feels elegant, warm and welcoming. The service was always attentive, courteous and quick, and the staff were genuinely friendly. But the real highlight was the food. In all my nine trips to Ireland, this is probably the best food I have ever had. I tried several dishes during my visits — the Prime Irish Beef Burger with beer battered onion rings, the feather blade of beef with mashed potatoes, the chicken supreme, the full Irish breakfast and the sticky toffee pudding — and every single one was excellent. The Guinness is perfectly poured, too. A special mention goes to the mashed potatoes: the best mash I have ever eaten in my life… after my mother’s. If I come back to Galway, I will definitely come back here too.
