BóTOWN in Galway

I order regularly from BoTown in Galway and have always found the food excellent, particularly the burgers. Tonight, though, I wanted to leave a review for a different reason — and specifically to recognise Amy, who looked after my order. I placed the order while I was driving and unfortunately my location was picked up incorrectly. From the moment Amy became involved, I have to say she was simply superb. What impressed me most about Amy wasn’t whether the order could be rectified or even the fact that the food is always good. It was the way she handled the whole situation. She took my circumstances and well-being into consideration, while at the same time being genuinely conscious of the driver and his well-being too. She was calm, understanding, practical and clearly cared about doing the right thing for everyone involved. I’ve been employing people for most of my working life, and you learn to recognise an exceptional employee when you come across one. Amy is exactly that. If she were working for me, she would be right at the top of the tree in any team I had. People like Amy are a credit to a business, and I genuinely hope BoTown management recognise what they have in her. Good customer service can be taught, but genuine empathy, common sense and consideration for people are much harder to find. So, while I’ll continue ordering from BoTown because the food and burgers are excellent, tonight’s five stars are very much for Amy. Well done, Amy, and thank you.

Excellent food. Service was fantastic. We went in about 45 mins before closing and everything was perfect. Our server was so nice, she was attentive and knowledgeable when recommending a local beer. The burger was 10/10 no notes. A definite try in Galway

This chef knows its burgers, service is inviting and professional and everything for a really good value for money. I had my best burgers here. The Big Boss. Certainly coming back.

Had my baby shower about 2 weeks ago, the food was delicious, the atmosphere wonderful and the staff super friendly. For sure we will be back for the next event. Thank you very much for all staff help 💖

I promised I'd leave a review so here it is, I had the Happy Bo Clucky Chicken burger(sandwich) and I genuinely cannot praise it enough, I felt a bit silly coming all the way to Ireland only to then go eat a chicken burger but this burger is so freaking good that I think it's worth coming to Galway just for this burger! I came here twice in my short time in Galway and got the same thing and it was consistently delicious both times! The server and service was also excellent she was friendly, helpful, and prompt. If you're in Galway and need comfort food this is the place. Slán go fóill.

Very pleasant evening… delicious food & fantastic service. Jordan our server was extremely personable. A wonderful experience… highly recommend

We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was still quiet in the early evening. We had three different burgers with delicious fries and amazing garlic sauce. Simply fantastic! A bit off the beaten tourist track, definitely worth a visit. The service was also excellent.

Decent food and some local drinks on the menu.

The burger was good and you could tell all the ingredients were fresh! The chips however were to die for and would absolutely go back just for them. The staff are really kind and we got complimentary sweets at the end which was nice surprise.

Great food and service. Loved everything we tried
