Amazing spot for coffee enthusiasts. One of the best pour-overs I've had in a while. You can also buy bags of coffee from roasteries all across Europe (and beyond), and get great advice on what to choose. The cups with a picture of the coffeehouse are cute :) Definitely coming back if I visit the city again.

It is difficult to get good coffe away from your usual turf, where you know where to go. I was really surprised to find great coffee in the middle of Galway, no recommendations, just lured in by the name. As I said, great coffee and a faboulous apple-marzipan tarte, not too sweet. Recommend wholeheartedly.🀩

It's a shame the coffee was served in paper cups, especially since Japanese porcelain is available for purchase; the cake was excellent.

26/08/2026: If a place is in the center of town and is clearly a tourist trap, I tend to avoid it. I admit, however, that I didn't do that with The King's Head, and for the first time, I'm glad to be one of those tourists! 🏠 VENUE | A classic Irish pub with a large room designed for beer consumption and a smaller one for food. I found it to be very well-kept down to the last detail and one of the most welcoming places in Ireland. πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ STAFF | The staff are all very young, and despite the crowds, they remain calm and friendly. Well done, it's quite a challenge, but you've overcome it! πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ CUISINE | Classic Irish cuisine, but with a few interesting dishes to discover. We went for the oysters (special), classic fish & chips, and cake to finish. Everything is truly special and made with quality ingredients. πŸ’Ά BILL | Prices are around €30 per person for a full dinner. I'd say it's reasonable for what's on offer! I recommend it.

10/08/2026: Superb French restaurant right in the heart of Galway. The gratin dauphinois accompanying the meat dishes is divine! The cooking is perfectly executed, and the art of French dining is upheld. It's a shame we had to choose between the gratin and the vegetables; a selection of both on the plate would have been a real bonus. The desserts are made by a neighboring pastry shop and are of a high standard.
26/07/2026: Great great atmosphere. Really nice owners. Food is meh !!! Portion sizes are good but the chef lacks the skills if I was being honest.
