Garavan's in Galway

A magnificent pub in Galway. Typical Irish pub where there is a wide variety of beers as well as other drinks such as Irish whiskey. The service was very friendly and there was also live music. Brilliant!. Pub located on the main street of Galway. If I return to the city I will visit Garavan's Bar

Ive sold street art outside this pub for a couple of years, and it's such a charming place with a real "salt of the earth" Irish pub feel. I've had some next level deep conversations with absolute strangers, and the staff are so down to earth. I would give up the drink entirely but for that little snug in the door way. I've written some of my best stuff, hunkered down in there clinging to my Guinness and my pen as if my life depended on it. It's an absolute jewel of an establishment, and I tip my hat to it.

Excellent atmosphere and a great choice of whisky

Perfectly encapsulates what I think of when I think of an Irish pub. Packed full of drunk, happy, fun Irish singing songs and drinking pints. A small band playing popular songs and traditional Irish music set the mood perfecting. A full pub but it was still easy to get a drink.

Isn't it shocking when you can't even take your top off while the band play Joe Dolan without getting kicked out. Thought a yellow card would've been fair
