Fantastic chippy to try when in Galway, service was fast and the chips were hot and delicious! Definitely try the garlic parm flavor, they are generous with the cheese!

I wasn’t even planning to try their chips, but I’m really glad I did! They were absolutely delicious and tasted like they were made from real potatoes. The different sauces were also really tasty and added a lot of flavour. Definitely worth trying!

The Pear Tree Café & Wine Bar

13/08/2026: We stopped for lunch at this place because it was on our route. We ordered a tasting combo with three of their meats, and everything was very good: Irish sausages, chicken, and beef. At first, it seemed like a small amount for two, but it was quite filling. The staff was very attentive.
12/08/2026: Came across this little cafe quite hidden near salthill beach, food fabulous, staff friendly, will return.

The Huntsman Inn

19/05/2026: Beautiful clean and updated rooms. Our room was huge and had a massive bathroom. King size bed was a little firm. Highly recommend
17/05/2026: Fantastic. Couldn't recommend it more for food and drink. Service was top class
