Lovely pint of Murphy's And you can sit outside with your dog and watch the world go by. We went there a few times 😁

Great Guinness and an excellent vegetable soup. Service was good throughout. Bonus points that they had a Marty Walsh sticker on the wall. Would recommend

Losing a star as the music thought it was a good plan to go from the first verses of Sean South straight into Country Roads!! Jaysus 😔 🙄

A stop on the way before the train journey to Belfast. Fun to see what it looks like during the day before all the people arrive! Lots of history in the walls!

One of Galway’s gems - not to be missed especially when the live music is on! Very busy but people move around and on quickly so not too bad to get a table if you are a small group/couple.

Had the best time hanging out there listening to a trad session. Fun vibe with both locals and tourists. Locals were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Music was amazing!

Aniar

09/06/2025: Aniar is a creative culinary immersion from which you will emerge imprinted and inspired. Truly life changing. A journey through the West of Ireland’s unique flora, fauna, sea and wildlife in 24 courses, you are a traveler held in the welcoming hospitality and generosity of the entire team, chefs and servers alike. Each course is a chapter an epic of the land, each taste its words lovingly woven together into a captivating narrative. Indeed, the meal is like the Seanchaí of old. Like all classic stories, you will traverse the spectrum of emotions while dining, astonished gasps, even tears, and for those of us who have ancestral connections to the West of Ireland, a genetic remembrance of her offerings - to have never tasted something before but to know it intimately. If you are able to, also add the wine pairing to experience unique offerings that enhance and expand each course’s flavors. So as to avoid living life with eternal regret, be sure to pace yourself to allow for full enjoyment of the jewel box desserts - an olfactory ornamentation and sweetness symphony. What a privilege to dine here and experience Ireland’s culinary history and future being written and re-written nightly.
02/06/2025: Anair is one of the best restaurants I have visited while traveling. The food was incredible, and the service was excellent and efficient. All of the dishes and decor are from Western Ireland and were very creative. I will be going back the next time I am in Galway.
