Taaffes in Galway

Great beers, music and food We stopped in here for lunch on our first day in town. Walked here from the bus station with our packs and sat outside. I had the beet salad and it was outstanding. My wife had the vegetable soup and she enjoyed it. Beers were good. We came back for music one night and had a great time listening, drinking and talking to a couple locals while sitting at the bar. One of the places I wanted to here music at and I'm glad we did.

Live music at 5.30 and 9.30. A nice pint. I used to come to this place with my Dad sadly in another place now but always visit when I'm visiting my relatives in Galway.

Great pub with live music in the evening. Go there for trinks and deep dive into Irish culture. Exquisit service and ambience. Guinness is great, as is the cider. Didn't eat there. So I can't say anything about the food.

This place is amazing. Friendly, fast, efficient service, and perfect Irish Charm. And if you can catch local musicians, you're in for a real treat. I didn't have any food from here. It's a must see!

Great Guinness and authentic live music

Great ambiance in this classic pub. The seafood chowder was a big bowl for not much money and pretty tasty. The soda bread on the side was excellent.

This was a quiet little bar when we first stepped in, but got busy while we sat there. Lots of locals and they all seemed to know each other. Made for a nice feel about it. We had chicken sandwiches that were fairly basic, but were tasty
