Trieste Café & Wine Bar in Galway

Small and cozy place. They are very interested. Treat you very well. But food options are limited. But if you are looking for a cheese platter, they probably offer more options. Prices are reasonable for wines, but quite expensive for cheese platter and other food.

Berry the owner is absolutely amazing, our visit to Trieste Cafe & Wine Bar was the most pleasant experience we’ve had in Galway. Our next trip we will be back just to see Barry and experience his unbelievable wine and local cheese selection. Thank you Berry for the great wine, cheese, and all of the recommendations, you’ve turned our experience from pleasant to unforgettable.

Very fancy place with wine and cheese. I just need that to be happy and I can have it there. Customer service is 10/10 and is lovelly. A bit tiny but lovelly. The only one problem that Is the raclette, I expected to eat it hot and it wasnt.

I don’t know how it’s taken me so long to review Trieste! It is the most gorgeous restaurant with such a unique and cozy atmosphere. I’ve been several times in the last year, and the food and drinks are always unbelievably good. However, the best part of the experience is Barry!! He has been the most accommodating and welcoming host, and I absolutely love coming back and catching up with him. Couldn’t recommend enough, 10/10!!!

Amazing place and well it's really very special. As are the hosts.. Haven't stopped recommending Trieste since my first visit and I found all guests are treated like vips... The quality of the charcuterie boards, the cheeses, and dessert boards are just exceptional and don't start me on the wines... I would advise to call ahead as its a very intimate place.... 💯😋

Such a great establishment. We went for a Cheese board and camembert cheese and it was divine. The staff are so friendly and so accomadating. We got seated as soon as we walked in (we had a booking) and they were so nice in recommending a red wine we might like with our prefences. I cannot wait to go back and would recommend Trieste Cafe to all friends and family.

Trieste is the perfect place where you can have a romantic dinner or relaxing time with your friends. I know Kate and Barry since they started, and every box or dinner feels like the first time. Since the first contact they show you how much they care and appreciate every customer. I would highly recommend Trieste to anyone looking for an outstanding dinner experience. I would give to Barry and Kate 10 stars if I could. Thank you for everything! ❤️❤️

This is my third year ordering party boxes from trieste at christmas time. Barry is so helpful and professional. A huge plus is that he will wait at the door once you call him and pop your party boxes in the boot - no need to grapple to find parking! The presentation of the box is just beautiful. Thank you!
