If you're looking for a pub that isn't a tourist trap selling cheap folklore, head to the Salt House. It has a very diverse clientele and a great atmosphere. I saw a fantastic jazz concert there. Excellent beer selection!

Great little pub. Great music. Great service. A lot of different beers on tap. Gets very busy after 5 pm, overflows onto the street.

We found it by chance and thought it was a great place to listen to live music.

We had a wonderful time here. The selection of craft beers was excellent, and Laura was absolutely lovely. She gave us great recommendations and even let us try a few samples, which made the experience even better. We really appreciated her kindness and knowledge, and enjoyed discovering so many different beers. We liked them so much that we even bought a few to bring home with us. Definitely a place we’d recommend if you’re in Galway and enjoy good craft beer. We’d happily come back!
