Stoked in Strandhill

The best restaurant in Sligo. Excellent food and service. The variety and quality cannot be matched.

We ordered five dishes, the Szechuan aubergine was the winner, genuinely well done. The garlic shrimp was decent. Everything else missed. The sushi crab was an abomination, mushy rice that definitely wasn't sushi rice and the nori wouldn't stick to it. The Mexican pork ribs had a really strong porky smell and the sauce was trying to be sweet and sticky but not fully sweet. The steak au poirve itself was cooked well but the fries were way too salty to eat. Strandhill doesn't have many restaurants so I get why people rate it highly. But if you plan on going skip the sushi, order the aubergine, and keep expectations low.

One of the best tapas I've had. Highly recommend it. Well worth a visit. Food was so fresh and full of flavour. Great views of the sea from the balcony.

Had an amazing meal here tonight. Not my first time either. Every time I’ve visited I’ve left both full and impressed! Delicious food with lovely accompanying sauces and garnish. Desserts are top notch too. Service excellent 😊

I was really lucky to have friends from work organise a fantastic Leaving Party for me recently in Stoked, Strandhill! I can’t thank Shane, Julien, Jamie & Co. enough for the fantastic food, service and flexibility around various requests made for the event in advance. Everyone is still raving about how much fun it was and how much they enjoyed the whole experience in Stoked! I will so miss Stoked when we leave Strandhill, some of our best memories were made there. It’s a great reason to return again soon! Marian x

I had the most beautiful dining experience, the staff was amazing and very helpful. We had the cauliflower wings , Mexican BBQ ribs, the cod which where all 100/10, it was worth every cent. I would highly recommend Stoked as l will definitely be going back. Cherry ontop we met the Lovely Mary , Shane’s mom, very lovely woman.

Couldn’t rate it higher. Exceptional flavour profiles, fantastic quick and calm service, great relaxed and positive atmosphere. Whoever is running this place has created something special here.
