If you're traveling with a little one, this place is a lifesaver. Okay, it's not your typical boring kids' restaurant, but they have a kids' menu that's a godsend: real, delicious, and uncomplicated food, so your child can eat well while you focus on what's important.
And what's important, let's be honest, is that fish soup. Oh my goodness! It's not your typical watery soup; it's creamy, rich, and packed with the best seafood from Sligo. It's the kind of soup that warms your soul after a walk on the beach with the wind at your side. If you go to Stoked and don't order the seafood chowder or their special fish soup, you're heartless. The fish is so fresh it seems like it jumped off the dock onto your plate, with that authentic taste of the sea that you only find in the west of Ireland.

What a find ! So glad we saw someone review this on IG as it made us travel from Sligo out here and so glad we did.
Food was absolutely yum.
The prawns were sizzling and came with bread great for dipping in the chilli oil. The ribs with chimichurri were so tasty but my fave was the aubergine, absolutely yum with the lime squeezed over it.
Parking available in a car park across the road.
Stoked is above the Strand Bar which is worth going to as well.

recommended by a friend, we were in sligo for the night, place is situated upstairs at strand bar, service was excellent greeted and seated immediately please pre book this place can be busy! this is a tapas style restaurant listen to servers recommendations as some dishes are delicious but huge and ask about specials! food was very flavoursome i am not one for aubergines but my wife ordered and I ate most of the plate they were that good, I got the steak it was cooked perfectly and my wife the curry, which was clearly slow cooked and delicious, my two year old daughter was with us and servers offered us chicken nuggets or cheesy pasta which was not on menu so there is something for everyone

If you’re anywhere around the northwest and haven’t called into Stoked Strandhill, you’re seriously missing out.
From the moment you walk in, there’s a great atmosphere, relaxed, welcoming and stylish without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in.
The tapas-style plates are exceptional. The quality of the food and the produce they use really stands out. Every dish is packed with flavour, thoughtfully put together and perfect for sharing. It’s a menu that encourages you to order a few plates for the table and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
The service is next to none. Shane and Angie run a fantastic operation and it shows. They’re hands-on, professional and make everyone feel genuinely looked after. You can tell there’s real pride behind what they’ve built.
It’s easily one of the top spots around and a must-visit if you’re in the northwest.
Highly, highly recommended
