We spent a long weekend in Murray's the staff could not do enough for us. The rooms are so spacious and recently refurbished. The food and music was great , I cannot wait to return next year.

this gem of a place we continue to return to. Super location, staff, facilities... just all in all good all round. Cannot recommend highly enough.... and it was raining the last time we were there but still wonderful. The team are so warm and welcoming, just like the island.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was. Outstanding food (and I mean outstanding) beautifully stylish and comfortable bedroom (we had a sea view room). The helpfulness and friendliness , not to mention the competence, of all the staff was the best we have encountered in the last twelve months in three continents! Well done to all at the Doonmore hotel, to owners Andrew and Donna, what truly lovely genuine hosts you were. Wishing you all many more years of success.

Many times on Bofin and at Murray's but the first time in the reconstructed rooms in the front section. What a difference! The service has always been great and now it may even be better and what's not to love about Bofin, remember, on one F in Bofin. My wife and I can't wait to get back.

Unplugging from the tumultuous world with a few nights at Murray's Doonmore Hotel was refreshingly wonderful. Inishbofin's rugged nature and its beauty feeds the soul--- but, afterwards, a meal at the Doonmore will heartily & memorable fill the stomach! The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. No need to pack loads of clothing, because the Doonmore can do your laundry & have it back to you on the same day. The weather requires the luck of the Irish; it can be windy, cold & drizzly( bit, not for long). In the evenings, the Doonmore's bar has authentic, local musicians playing Celtic instruments and singing bards that engage their listeners. We enjoyed renting bikes from Patty & the freedom to pedal safely on carless paths with scenic views.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Murrays Hotel. A huge thank you to Andrew & Donna for looking after us so warmly throughout our visit — their hospitality really made the experience extra special. There was also a fantastic band visiting from Alaska playing Bluegrass music (unfortunately I cannot remember their name), but they were absolutely outstanding and created such a brilliant atmosphere. One of those evenings you wish could go on a little longer. We are already looking forward to booking another stay again soon. Andrew & Emer

I love this hotel. I love Inishbofin.

Here for a week on a tour and the hotel was great, we had breakfast, dinner here everyday. Our group also had nightly concerts at the facility and retired to the bar for jam sessions, were local musicians joined. I asked for a few special things off menu and was accommodated. The staff was excellent. The best hotel on Inishbofin. The best location on the island.
