Usmania Indian Restaurant in Killarney

FANTASTIC meal! Order the lamb balti. Also, the garlic naan ranks among the best I have ever had. Ignore any negative reviews you may read here.

We had a wonderful meal at Usmania in Killarney in August 2026. Our party of five enjoyed the fresh and perfectly spiced food. The garlic naan was especially flavorful and fresh, perfectly prepared with a nice crisp while still being soft on the inside!. We shared lamb balti, saffron rice, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala and every dish was hot, flavorful, and tasty. The service was excellent. We were seated quickly and served attentively. Our entrees came out quickly. And the price was excellent. For five entrees, two orders of naan, and non-alcoholic drinks we paid less than 120 euros. Highly recommend!

Amazing food! Exceptional hospitality! My husband and I had take-away yesterday. We had the Tandoori Butter Chicken. Highly recommend.

Love going here when visiting Killarney. Authentic food, quiet atmosphere with good service and reasonable. 8th time eating here and it never disappoints. Service excellent too. Food consistently divine and great value for money. This restaurant deserves higher rating than 4.1!!!

"Superb food and wonderful hospitality! We tried the Saag Paneer and Chilli Paneer, and the taste was just awesome. There are lots of great veggie options on the menu to choose from. The service really stood out—Saad was very polite and kindly served us complimentary tea, which was a lovely touch. Had a lovely experience, so many flavors took me back to old days. The food was really delicious. If you ever want a bit of a spice in life do visit this place. Many options, must try their naan with chicken Tikka. Great and quick service. Outing with friends need a cozy place then do visit.

Had the Lamb Balti and it was excellent. I also really enjoyed the mango lassi and som butter chicken.!

So unremarkable on the outside that you could almost miss it. The interior is dark and the ceilings are low, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The Indian music is somewhat irritating, though. The menu is fairly varied. The samosa was quite good. The chicken curry was nicely spiced and tasty. The naan bread with garlic and fresh coriander was particularly delicious.

Great food and service, all reasonably priced.
