Harrow in Killarney

Mixed review of the Harrow Killarney as it is very good but with not much change could be even better. The food us really good my Ceaser Salad was a delicious variant of the standard and my wife's Scallops were really good. My main course did not deliver quite so well. Im being picky but when ordering a steak medium rare it should not arrive blue (fortunately I don't mind this and don't like sending food back to the kitchen) also steak knives should cut not tear the meat. When I mentioned the blunt knife at the end of the meal I was told sharper knives are available. If that is the case why not use them. Over all the meal was very good, just could have been better.

My partner and I reserved a table for two at 7:30 pm. We were very satisfied with our visit in every respect. The service was attentive and the food was served quickly. The drinks menu had a good selection, including non-alcoholic wine, Prosecco, beer, and cider. The non-alcoholic white wine was a bit too acidic for our taste. We really enjoyed the food. The three-course menu was a good deal for me at €66. However, we each ordered an appetizer and a main course. We each received a drink and a bottle of water.

Good quality food. However butter served is smoked and tastes as if it has been mixed in an old ashtray! Ask for unsmoked.

The food was delicious, but too expensive for what you get. The service was friendly but completely overwhelmed due to understaffing. This resulted in longer waiting times.

Excellent food, since we wanted to try the Lamb Wellington and the Ribeye, they split them for us even without asking them to do so. The pastry crust on the lamb was perfect but the duck fat potatoes served with every entree was the highlight of the meal. Crispy and mouthwatering.

Beautiful restaurant. Fabulous food. Excellent staff. Could not do enough for you.

Best meal we had in Ireland. Amazing food and service.
