24/07/2026: Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are big and comfortable, very nice decoration and exceptional staff. Breakfast served to table. Dinner at the Garden bar beautiful ! Highly recommend

13/06/2026: Pure excellence in service, staffing, hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness. This hotel possesses the highest quality in rooms, bedding and bath. Restaurant food is so delicious we were tempted to never dine elsewhere. The bar is top shelf in every way, including the pianists playing popular music.

11/09/2026: Just spent 5 nights in Killarney with my wife, we visited Jack C's on our first night. We ended up going there every night of our stay for a few Guinness's. This was thanks to Alex and Ronnie who served us and the regulars including Oscar, Willy, Martin and the infamous Sham (man with strongest accent in Ireland). They were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome that we couldn't help but go back again night after night!

08/10/2026: Awful, overpriced, recycled food, most likely reheated in the microwave. It's a pity I held positive memories prior, as the food was exquisite and fresh. The restaurant is now rundown in every possible way, ( the whole place is in serious need of revamp, the chairs are uncomfortable, with stained flat cushions, above you could see the TVs with dust on them, the table legs had droplets of dried-out condiments and food, it was really filthy). The service was good, but obviously we expected top tier food that's why we stayed on. Their status as a reputable, decent food restraunt have surely sunk. We will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend going to eat there.

28/09/2026: Absolutely amazing food. Cozy place. Today they had a new girl Diana and she was very very kind and helpful. She was being trained and was a bit nervous. We just wanted to ler her know she is doing amazing and we really appreciated her service!!! 💜🙏🏻

16/08/2026: Great place. The atmosphere is fantastic. Dining at high tables with wooden and glass dividers is very original. I recommend booking because there's a long queue at peak times. The fish and chips are great, the ribs are delicious. And the apple pie with ice cream and custard is the best dessert I've ever had. If you can, come.

11/10/2026: Low quality food, high prices... This place is an American tourist trap. It is more like a fancy takeaway than a restaurant. Would not reccomend.

09/10/2026: We were excited for a nice seafood dinner after reading the good reviews. Unfortunately, all of our dishes missed the mark. We started with the fried squid - it was fine, but not well seasoned and tasted like it had been cooked in old oil (not crunchy). Then we had the shrimp main which was horrible. No flavor. The shrimp was cooked in (bathing in) what appeared to be canola oil and not seasoned at all. The sourdough was basically wonder bread - not the nice textured sourdough you might think of. See the photo of another reviewer a few weeks ago to get an idea of the shrimp dish - would avoid at all costs. The pan fried salmon was fine - thankfully it was hot but the potato and leek sides weren’t and were overly cooked in oil. Again without flavor - just oil. The service was disappointing, taking a long time to check in or clear any glasses and not glancing at our table so we could flag them down. Overall, we were very disappointed and would recommend avoiding especially at their high prices.

03/07/2026: Rooms comfortable generally ok. Service especially in the restaurant excellent, breakfast cooked to order and good. A reasonable walk into the town and the hotel seems popular with coach tours. Wifi quite slow and glitchy

17/06/2026: The best part of Dromhall was its location. Right opposite a centra and a gas station, very good for road trip. Rooms were great and very spacious. They also provided a plug in fan which we greatly appreciated since it was summer.

11/10/2026: I love this place for drink, and good atmosphere. But is potentially the worst place to eat food in Killarney. I got garlic flatbread, and it has clearly been reheated, the bread was like a rock and the cheese too. I then got the fish and chips which was the worst fish I’ve ever had. The batter was like cardboard and the fish tasted off. Very upset given that it really ain’t cheap.

09/10/2026: We ended up eating here twice. The first time we just got take out, because members of our crew were under the weather. We went back again to enjoy the atmosphere and some live music. The first time I got the Cottage Pie, which was excellent. The second time I had a burger, which was also very good. The place is fairly big inside, so the "quaint Irish pub" vibe gets lost in the size a bit, but the live music was good, and overall the ambiance is definitely pub"ish". Service was good, especially the first visit when our server made sure the take out (which clearly isn't their specialty) was good for us--for example she steered us away from soups because they didn't have good containers for them.
