The best restaurants in Killarney

31/03/2024: Lovely cafe, great full breakfast, kids loved the pancakes, scone and especially the hot chocs with sauce, cream and marshmallows. Really nice lady.

25/03/2024: A great place to stop in and enjoy a good hot cup of freshly made coffee or dine on one of their delicious menu items! Never had a less than excellent plate here, and will certainly be back for more soon enough!

11/03/2024: The Pizza is amazing! 🤩 We ordered pepperoni pizza and he added fresh basils and parmesan cheese on it which is lovely 😍. The tiramisu is yummy as well! Also, Jacob is very welcoming and friendly. Must try pizza in Killarney! Just in front of the Killarney Inn.

28/03/2024: In contrast to many others, I leave a low rating. Waited a long time to order despite few visitors. The bartender (young man) seemed more interested in flirting with girls than taking our order. Also arrogant when I asked to order, so we moved on to the next pub (and got good service there!).

03/04/2024: The best place that I ate in Ireland (so far). First of all, you may want to book a reservation, I didn't and had to wait 15 minutes in the bar I order to sit. In the bar the bartender was helpful and suggested to me a couple of local beers to match with my food (also I couldn't help noticing the adroit way he poured the drinks). The rest of the stuff wasn't as nice as he was. The place looks really awesome, similar to an American burger house style/booth full with interesting frames and decoratives, I could keep my eyes from the walls. The food came early and it was really really good. (there is a whole vegan section on the menu with a couple of options from starters to burgers and main courses). I ordered the porterhouse plant based burger with black beans and the soup of the day (which was cauliflower soup) both were super tasty and the portions were more than satisfactioning (although the country potatoes sides to the burger was extra spicy, not the best to me). Prices were fine and I really liked the experience. I strongly recommend this place.

27/03/2024: This place was wonderful. There are quirks associated with it being an older hotel, but they shouldn't bother anyone who can appreciate its central location. Simple example: you leave your room key with the front desk rather than have a swipe card. Security-wise, this is head-and-shoulders over just anyone potentially accessing your room. You can easily retrieve your key any time of day or night. The rooms were spacious, the linens immaculate, and the staff always available and very friendly. We had just left a modern hotel in Dublin with miserable HVAC and sealed windows, so the ability to open a window and get fresh air was literally refreshing. Yes, Killarney will start being noisy at 7:30AM as cleaning crews come through, but you hear nothing. Each time we needed anything at all, it was readily available.

26/03/2024: Lovely hotel Veronica was very nice on reception Laura who served us breakfast and dinner and the star of the show i think his name was tadhg We were there for our wedding anniversary so please god will go again next year great choice for breakfast

28/03/2024: Quinlan has several venues and shops. This is the cheapest, but this is not noticeable either in the quality of the food, it is excellent!, or in the service, because the next day we were at the Mad Monk and there was the same waiter and cook.

21/03/2024: Very small portions, 4 small pieces of fish in the Spicy Fish box, lots of red pepper & a small portion of chips. Price does not reflect portion sizes! Very disappointing cod & chips also very small. Should have gone to the local Fish & Chip shop.

06/12/2023: Un pub excelente sin duda. Muy acogedor y buena variedad de bebidas. La atención al cliente es genial y el dueño es una persona muy agradable y educada. Música buena en directo por las noches y lo mejor es que tiene una terraza donde se puede salir a fumar sin tener que salir a la calle. Me encanta este pub. De lo mejorcito de Killarney.

31/03/2024: Fantastic killarney night spot,amazing staff, and Ower , Can't recommend this enough, Anytime we have visitors to killarney, We end up bringing them there ,Always a great night to be had,From traditional music early in the evening to rock bands at night, And off course the disco for the younger ones, My favourite is the liquid Lounge with Jack Healy & Buck Taylor for us thirty somethings 🤣

19/03/2024: Very tasty food, nicely decorated place and comfortable seating. Unfortunately we were served by the only unfriendly waitress in the place: - she was cold and needs to quickly learn that a smile will not deform her face and that it can go a long way. - she was unprofessional: she had not wanted to book us in 2 hours before we arrived and then was annoyed to have to find a table for us, as the restaurant had got busy and we were 5! - she was rude all along the service: she did not want us there, so she was very expeditive. If she likes her job, she should learn to behave like her colleagues who were courteous and helpful. Good luck to her!

31/03/2024: We ordered Japanese katsu kare and kimuchi. Both dishes were abundant and delicious. The service is very friendly and the environment clean. I recommend

13/03/2024: Came here 2 days in a row while we were in Killarney. Great food, excellent service, at great prices! We got the pad thai, gochujang stir fried Udon, matcha latte, latte, French toast, and the potato leek soup. All were fantastic!

04/04/2024: Had some Beers and finger food. Very good. Recommend the Killarney IPA.
