18/08/2025: Fish( very small) and chips with mushy(dry powdery) peas at 21 euro were a bit of a let down. Fish was a bit small. This pint is just wrong.
Hoping was just a bad day and Standards have not slipped here.
12/08/2025: What can I say! The food was delicious — and I come from the city of gastronomy. The oysters were fresh, the kidneys perfectly seasoned, the green beans al dente and full of flavour, the broccoli with its miso mayo was excellent, and the peas had a taste I’ve never experienced before. And it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in Dublin.
By sheer luck, we happened to get a booth of our own — the setting was ideal and peaceful, and the service was excellent.

01/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide. We ordered the seafood tower, which was filled with lobster, prawns, fried fish, two types of salmon, oysters, etc. It was a great value and a nice way to sample a variety of seafood. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious.

24/07/2025: Very friendly service and really good. Normally I wouldn't get wings at a cafe, but they were really good and I'll probably have more. Great spot if you're in the area. Breakfast menu looks good too.

I had the halloumi sandwich which was delicious (the photo is an odd perspective, it was actually huge!).
Highly recommend this place - only downside for us was that they allow smoking in half the outside seating with just a 3foot walkway between them and the non-smoking tables so if the wind blows one way you get an unappreciated hit!

09/08/2025: Stopped by for a couple of Americanos to go. The staff indicated that Killarney stopped using disposable cups and that you had to rent a cup for 2 euros each. You can turn in the cup and get your euros back which I did. I was fine with the cup but my wife didn't necessarily care for it.
24/07/2025: Great cappuccino with 3 different plant-based milk options (to pay extra). The scones are excellent!
If they considered no single-use plastics for butter and jam everything would be perfect!

I wanted to get the chowder but then i saw there was a menu special. Half chowder and half salmon sandwich. Why not?
Well basically i paid 2.50 euro extra to have half chowder and 2 slice of salmon on the slice of bread that usually comes with the soup. Or in other terms i paid 6.50 for 2 slices of salmon.
I guess that if i would have got the full sandwich, they would have gave me the slice of bread above.

18/08/2025: Exceptional! The revamp at The Killarney Park is incredible. The decor is sensational: unique and thoughtfully crafted, a beautiful and grounded homage to Killarney's biosphere reserve. Beyond that, the whole experience is luxurious — the rooms and spa, the food and bar selection. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

08/08/2025: Stunning hotel! Staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend if in Killarney. Close enough to town and is walkable. No air conditioning though. Would stay again!

26/07/2025: The vegetarian pizza was terrible, the sauce tasted like ketchup, and the vegetables like straight from a can. However, we also had a meat pizza which was delicious! They clearly know how to make good pizza, just could put in more effort for their vegetarian customers. I hope that changes in the future.
