28/07/2026: Great place to visit. Opens early for breakfast and serves lunch. Can get food up to 5pm. Good choice on the menu, friendly staff and all at a reasonable price.

10/09/2026: The place is a bit small and can feel crowded, but the atmosphere is nice. The food is amazing. I really liked the spicey fish. The fish and chips is very good, too.

02/09/2026: My mom and I had dinner a few weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about it! We arrived late and the place was full and they were so exceptionally nice in accommodating us and finding us a table. Then our waiter Brendan totally made our day with his endless cheer and fun, the food was all absolutely amazing (we had Shepard's pie and Arthur's pride and Bailey's cheesecake) and the atmosphere was classic and beautiful. It was our quintessential Irish meal and couldn't be more satisfied and grateful, especially to Brendan. They even had live music as we were leaving. Thank you all and keep doing what your doing!

02/09/2026: Chicken tikka wrap was super underwhelming. Was pretty much a semi burnt red tinted chicken burrito that was super dry with red/yellow peppers in it. Honestly just need to take it off the menu since the rest of the food looked good.

24/07/2026: Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are big and comfortable, very nice decoration and exceptional staff. Breakfast served to table. Dinner at the Garden bar beautiful ! Highly recommend

13/06/2026: Pure excellence in service, staffing, hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness. This hotel possesses the highest quality in rooms, bedding and bath. Restaurant food is so delicious we were tempted to never dine elsewhere. The bar is top shelf in every way, including the pianists playing popular music.

11/09/2026: Just spent 5 nights in Killarney with my wife, we visited Jack C's on our first night. We ended up going there every night of our stay for a few Guinness's. This was thanks to Alex and Ronnie who served us and the regulars including Oscar, Willy, Martin and the infamous Sham (man with strongest accent in Ireland). They were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome that we couldn't help but go back again night after night!

13/09/2026: My husband and I were visiting Killarney from Boston, and saw the Mad Monk and their fabulous menu while walking around the city. Could not get a reservation for our first night, but got one for the second night. Our waiter Sean was wonderful. We split the local oysters and each had the sea bass with the squid ink risotto. This was an outstanding dish. We eat a lot of fish at home, and this was a dish to remember. The table next to us also ordered it on our recommendation. We had cocktails, wine with dinner. The entree and a lovely side salad. If you are a fish/ seafood lover, make sure to eat at the Mad Monk while in Killarney!

13/09/2026: This review is based on my experience of the place, service and food served. It was fully booked so we had to sit outside so the atmosphere of the restaurant is not judged here. The waitress must have been relatively new. She forgot the main course for two people in the party and I never got the spoon I asked for. I had oysters as a starter and halibut as a main course. The oysters were super fresh and the halibut was amazing and it was a really big portion too, really really good!

16/08/2026: Great place. The atmosphere is fantastic. Dining at high tables with wooden and glass dividers is very original. I recommend booking because there's a long queue at peak times. The fish and chips are great, the ribs are delicious. And the apple pie with ice cream and custard is the best dessert I've ever had. If you can, come.

15/08/2026: For 115€ we should have had a better meal. This was disappointing.

03/07/2026: Rooms comfortable generally ok. Service especially in the restaurant excellent, breakfast cooked to order and good. A reasonable walk into the town and the hotel seems popular with coach tours. Wifi quite slow and glitchy

17/06/2026: The best part of Dromhall was its location. Right opposite a centra and a gas station, very good for road trip. Rooms were great and very spacious. They also provided a plug in fan which we greatly appreciated since it was summer.

08/09/2026: Great few days at this 3star Eviston Hotel We had a 4star experience between the very helpful staff especially Jennifer Asst Manager who oversaw the staff and food in the Danny Mann restaurant The entertainment in the Restaurant was very enjoyable The breakfasts were really nice All in all we had a great few days and we will be back

07/09/2026: Went for dinner here and brought our dog. Peter was so accommodating and friendly . The doggy area is a nice touch and the service was amazing.🥰

21/08/2026: Wow, can I give 10 stars for service? Wonderful folks. The food was delicious! Pad see ew, bang bang chicken, duck red curry, calamari…all fabulous. We are in town for a few days and this was our favorite non-Irish meal!
