Great Southern Killarney in Killarney

Beautiful hotel and great friendly and professional service from all. It was such a pleasure to spend a few days here. Food was excellent and the location is perfect for walking around Killarney. right beside the train station too if you don't have a car.

Stopped in for an afternoon tea. Everything was delicious highly recommend.

This was probably the finest hotel we have stayed in. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. We liked all the elegant details to the time period this place was built. They always had a wood and coal fire in the entrance fireplace. There are lovely grounds to enjoy. Our usual taste is sort of Best Western so when we had the breakfast we felt compelled to take photos of the luxurious settings. If you have the chance to stay here, do it.

Beautiful hotel, staff was absolutely fantastic. Sean and Savio were two that were extremely helpful and kind, always greeted with a warm smile! Would highly recommend staying here, truly the nicest staff of any hotel I’ve been in!

Beautiful hotel in killarney. The service was excellent from start to finish. The rooms were very comfortable and beautiful decor throughout the hotel. We loved the handwritten welcome card and complimentary desserts on arrival, such a lovely personal touch. The breakfast selection was excellent and great choice available. Leisure centre and spa on site we used jacuzzi and steam room. We didn't have swim hats though or card on us at time. Perhaps some complimentary ones with hotel branding would be a nice touch. A special shout out to the concierge team , very helpful and friendly We took bicycles out to explore the national park. The man from Belfast was very helpful and great sense of humour. The team in the bar were great too. Very attentive and welcoming. Mike had us in stitches, very entertaining. The irish coffees were great! The Great Southern is Irish hospitality at it's finest. Will be planning a return trip for Christmas. Thank you , Sarah and Stephen.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Top shelf in every way!
